Flora walks back to the party after fixing herself and went downstairs. She saw Bonnie making her way towards her.
"There you are, we've been looking all over for you." Bonnie sighs.
"What for?" "Everyone is gathering at the ballroom. Come on." She motions and Flora follows her. They made it back to the ballroom while Caroline waited for them then they looked up to the balcony.
"Welcome everyone! I am so thankful that you all have come here for my family. I would like to have a toast so please help yourselves with champagne and these kind of champagne are very rare." The blonde woman up above says as waiters walk around and everyone, but Flora took the champagne.
"Not getting any?" Caroline asks looking at her.
"I already drank earlier and I have to drive home. Don't wanna cause an accident." Flora half lied to her and Caroline nodded agreeing before the turn their attention towards them.
"A toast to my family." She held the same champagne as everyone did as well before drinking it. Esther scans the crowd before her eyes landed towards a peculiar woman that kept watching her.
She kept contact and took a sip before looking at everyone else.
"Thank you all and have a wonderful evening. Finn, may I talk to you for a moment?" Esther mutters and he nodded as they both disappeared upstairs.
"Where's Jeremy and Elena?" Flora asks and the two shrug as they look around.
"I'll go ahead and look for them." I smiled and walked around the ballroom when I noticed Damon and Elena together which made me walk up to them, but I stopped when I heard their conversation.
"I know you love me Elena. We kissed and it meant something." "Yeah, it did. It meant a mistake Damon. I will never be with you. Only with Stefan. I never loved you." Elena tells him and I cleared my throat grabbing their attention.
"Flora, h-how long have you been there?" Elena looks at me with shock.
"I just got here, anyways I came to say that I'm going home now. If you find Jeremy anywhere, tell him I already left and that my feet are killing me cause of these shoes." I told them showing innocence and she nodded smiling.
"Sure." She says and I nodded before giving her a hug and bid my goodbye. I walked towards the entrance door when I felt a hand on mine causing me to turn to see Finn.
"Yes?" I question and he lets go of it.
"I came to apologise of my behaviour earlier. Forgive me." He mutters and I could tell he doesn't like being in a social gathering and feeling like an outcast from the others. I smiled placing my hand on his shoulder making him look at me.
"All is forgiven. Maybe buy me coffee sometime as an apology gift?" I ask and he smiles.
"Of course." He nods and I smiled handing him my business card.
