The sharp echoe left my ears leaving me in wonder, that night I wouldn't sleep.
Couldn't in fact.
In the early morning is when I took action, I jumped from my hide out looking at the soil cover of earth, it was covered in pine with well defined tracts leading to where the horrid creature had left me breathing last night. Walking over to where the river rest I drew my finger along the mud using it to paint my skin; I reached towards my back using a circular motion in hopes it create eye like features, if the dangerous hot dog was anything like mountain lions it hopefully would think
I had eyed all around and wasn't as unguarded as I truly was. The mysterious crows flew circles around the sky. This was my time my go ahead and I new it. started my walk the Sharp smell of pine trees invaded my sence it was the only comfort as I be alone in the forest though the trees were filled with life and the ground carried many organisms, I was just a scared little girl behind my act; truly I only was lying to myself...
The sun hadn't even rises to its peek it barely touched the tips of the trees, the shadows danced around me but it wasn't the shadows I was afraid of it was what lurked in them.
My stomachs growled in protest as I kept walking, I was happier when the sun gave me little light to see the mulch pile on the growned, I grabbed a fallen stick and used it to swipe around the dirt satisfied at the sight, an intrusion of cockroaches crawled over one another obviously too crowded and I was about to help them on that topic. I looked around making sure no dagger clawed dog was around before taking a handful; there hissing and the sharp legs they walked on scratching my hand, I took my right hand and picked one like candy from my other handful and began with biting it head off, it gave a little resistance but within a few milaseconds the body came loose. I than took the body in one bite the inards squirting into a blue cheese taste. Taking the last piece of my dress I'm willing to sacrifice I rapped a few hand fulls in finding myself even craving them...
I had only walked about half an hour  when the sun shown proud in the sky.
As my bare feet carried me across the earth smoothly I had a large stick I was sharpening the end of with the edge of a flat rock, though my body craved the taste if blue cheese crunchies.
And yes the forest brought out my creative side, thank you for noticing...
I guessed it was early noon when I stopped to rest, grabbing a tree filled out with leaves to sit. Though on rest I still made use of my time grabbing as many oversized greens letting the water from our recent rain fall onto my tounge, it was time consuming but oh so worth it.
Laying against the tree balancing with the sun warming and the leaves hiding me from any unwanted visitors who may pass bye me I let myself relax into a sleep.
