"Check mate," Emily said from across the jet. She had just won her chess game with Spencer. "Wow kid, someone finally beat you at your own game," said Morgan flashing a broad white smile. I had been catching Emily stealing glances at me the whole flight home. We had dinner plans once we got home, our fifth date.
We were on our way home from a case in Cleveland, Ohio. Two little boys went missing. We caught the unsub in two days, but we lost one of the boys. JJ had a hard time coping after a case involving kids. I noticed she sat alone on the flight home. She sat across from me on the plane, sulking and staring out of a window. "JJ," she glanced over at the sound of her name. "are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine, Meredith." JJ was tough. She didn't like to talk about what she was feeling. "You know we couldn't have saved him, JJ. He was gone before we even got there. We saved one, and that's the best we could have hoped for." "What's going on with you and Em," she asked changing the subject. I looked over at Emily, and she was looking me up and down; her eyes lost in a mesmerized haze. "She's been looking at you like that all night, ya know." We had been trying to keep the fact that we were seeing each other on the down-low, not really sure how the bureau would feel about two agents on the same team dating. "Uh, I don't know yet." I stood up and walked towards Emily. I grabbed her hand and pulled her to her feet, leading her to a room at the back of the plane. I shut the door behind us. "Meredith what are you—," I put my finger over her lips, quieting her. I gently pushed her against the wall behind her and kissed her slowly but intensely. After about twenty seconds Emily pushed me away. "Are you crazy!" She flashed a smile and pulled my hips in closer to herself. "Just getting myself prepared for tonight." I kissed her neck, and she ran her fingers through my hair. "What's tonight?" She said winking at me. "I'm kidding!" She said noticing the change in my expression. "Right," I chuckled out. "We should get back out there," Emily said. I opened the door and she stepped out. I followed close behind. I sat back in my seat across from JJ, and quickly fell asleep for the rest of the flight.
I sat in the middle of my bed surrounded by discarded outfits. Nothing seemed right. It was either too sexy, or too masculine, too forward. I made my way through the ocean of blazers and dresses to my closet. I rummaged through for the 8th time that night. I finally settled on a silk, Lacey tank top under a black blazer; and jeans. I got dressed and gave myself a once over in the mirror, adding red lipstick as a final touch. Just then my doorbell rang. I looked at the clock on my night stand, it was 7:40pm. Ready just in time, I opened the front door to Emily in a red dress. The top hugging her boobs, the bottom falling loosely just above her knees. Every part of the dress was hugging every part of her perfectly. "Ready to go?" I couldn't find my words for a second, or pick my jaw up off of the floor. She looked breath taking. "Just let me grab some shoes, come in." I closed the door behind her and went to put on a black pair of heels. "All set," i said. We made our way out of my building, to my car. I drove us to the restaurant; a little Italian place on fourth street.
Emily and I were sat at a table by the window, with the most beautiful view of the Lincoln memorial. "This view is amazing," said Emily. We both ordered pasta, salad, and wine to drink. Emily took a bite of her food, getting sauce on her chin. I laughed a little. "What?" she asked. "Is there something on me face?" I motioned for her to lean closer to me. I placed my fingers on her chin and used my thumb to wipe it off. Emily licked her bottom lip, driving me wild. We spent the rest of dinner talking about the case we were just on. A little while later the waiter came to bring us our check, we paid, and left the restaurant. "My place?" I asked once we were in Emily's car. She nodded her head and took of in the direction of my apartment.
We arrived at my apartment fifteen minutes later. I poured us each a glass of wine. Emily had seemed a little drunk. She sat on my sofa and she sunk right into it. "This couch is amazing, you just melt right into it," she said with her words slurring together just a little. A piece of hair fell in Emily's face, and I gently brushed it behind her ear. I let my hand linger on her cheek, and she leaned into it. Emily's eyes were full of lust, and she was not hiding it. She pulled my face to meet hers and kissed me hard. She ran her hands down my sides to the hem of my shirt, slipping it over my head on the way back up. I pulled her chin up and put my lips on her neck. Then I pulled back and grabbed Emily by then hand. "Come with me," I said pulling her to her feet. I led her to my bed room. My king sized pillow top was begging for Emily to be in it. I sat her on the bed and straddled her lap. I unzipped her dress and pulled it down off of her shoulders. I bent down to kiss the top of her breasts, as I undid her bra. Just then she flipped me over on my back. She slid my pants down, grinning at the sight of my lace, black panties. "You dressed for the occasion," she said sitting me up and pulling my shirt over my head. I pulled her face to mine and kissed her lips, sliding my tongue through her lips. Our bodies seemed to be so in sync that they were one body. My movements perfectly matching hers. She laid me back. My head hit the pillow and Emily was on top of me. Her body felt good. My hands were gliding over every inch of her, sliding over every curve. Emily was teasing me with her fingers, making me squirm under her touch. "Emily, please," I said. My voice was breathy. Before I knew it she was inside of me.
We made love for hours, switching positions; taking turns taking care of each other. We finished and collapsed next to each other. "Wow, that was.... amazing," said Emily catching her breath. I looked over at the clock, it was close to 2am. I rolled over onto my side and kissed Emily's shoulder. "So what now Emily?" She twirled a piece of hair around in her fingers, contemplating the next move. "How about, we keep seeing each other, definitely keep doing this," she said as she kissed me. "Do we tell the team?" I asked. No one on the team has ever actually dated. Derek and Penelope flirt like they've been together for years, but that's it. There was no telling how Strauss or the director would handle that. "Maybe not quite yet. Let's give us some time, and tell them when we're ready." I was exhausted. Between the case we just came home from, and the sex; I could hardly hold my eyes open. "Sleep, Meredith; I'll call you in the morning." She kissed me and went to get up. I pulled her back down to my bed. "Stay." Her face lit up in a smile. I thought, I could see her smile every single day; and never get tired of it. She laid down beside me and wrapped her arm tight around me. She pulled me in close. Our bodies just seemed to fit together, perfectly. We fell asleep, breathing slow. I already couldn't wait to wake up to her tomorrow.
