Never Knew...Until Now

19.

Nicki POV

Its been 3 days since cjay marked rosie and as them days passed, the more the connection between us was fading.

I sit in my room just watching tv, trying to plan out some things, when rosie comes in.

"Nicki?" She calls.

"What?" I ask not taking my eyes off the tv.

"You wanna come chill in the pool with me?" She ask.

"Nope" I say glancing at her. I could tell she was a bit hurt by my response.

"Uhm...o-ok..." she says then slowly leaves the room.

I sigh deeply and get up from the bed and turn the tv off.

"Nic?" Safaree calls as he rushes in the room before I can walk out.

"What faree?" I ask.

"You ok?" He ask.

"Yeah...why?" I ask looking confused.

"Good" He says.

"Faree what is it?" I ask cause I knew something was up.

".....cjay's here" He says.

"....ok" I say uncaringly.

"Ok?" He ask confused.

"Yeah, what I'm I suppose to say?" I ask.

"The connection faded away, didn't it?" He ask.

I nod. He pulls me in a hug.

"There's gotta be apart of  you that still loves her, did you mark her?" He ask.

"No..I was going to wait until she was ready but look what happened" I say.

"Do you still feel a lil bit of love towards her?" He ask.

"Yeah but-"

"Come on!" He cuts me off as he grabs my arm pulling me out the room and downstairs.

I look and see rosie laughing with cjay as they sat on the edge of the pool.

"Mark her!" Safaree says.

"What?" I ask confused.

"Mark her now! quick!" He says trying to push me out the back door where rosie was.

"I can't! Its too late! Cjay already marked her" I say.

"He may have marked her but he hasn't claimed her yet! remember the mark will not settled until all other love connections are gone but you say you still have a lil bit of love for her, which, if I am correct, she does too and if you mark her now, the mark will choose the strongest love connection! Which is yours!" He explains.

"But-"

"NOW GO DO IT! QUICK!" He shouts as he pushes me out the back door.

"Awh nicki, came to join us?" Cjay ask as his attention turns to me.

I look between him and rosie a few times then I quickly make my move. I mark her.

"Ow! What the hell nicki?!" Rosie says holding her neck.

"That was a dumb move nicki" Cjay says coming towards me.

I stand my ground as he gets closer and closer. When he reaches me, he tries to punch me but someone knockes him over.

I look and it was safaree. They fought, until safaree was starting to lose. I start to jump in but someone holds me back.

"Let me g-" I cut myself off when I see rosie. She smiles at me and right there, I felt our connection come back but stronger then ever.

We share a long passionate kiss, forgetting that safaree was getting beat.

"Help me dammit!"

I pull away from the kiss and jump in. We double team cjay and I rip his head off.

"There, no more cjay" I say out of breathe.

Rosie chuckles and I smile. I was going in for a kiss but she pushes me away.

"Go wash up" She says.

I pout.

"You can pout all you want, you ain't finna touch me with them bloodly hands!" She says then walks away.

"Well damn" I say chuckling. I turn to safaree. "Thanks" I say.

"For what?" He ask.

"For helping me get rosie back...you was right, I felt our connection come back" I say smiling.

"No problem nic, you know I got you" He says.

"I know...now its my turn" I say pulling out my phone.

"Nah...Its cool" He says.

"Hello...hey, renae-"

"Renae!?" Safaree says coming up to me quick.

"Yeah...alright, see you then" I say ending the call.

"That was renae?" Safaree ask.

I laugh and nod then walk away.

"What did she say!?" I hear him ask as I continue walking. He will find out soon enough.

Right now its all about me and my baby rosie.
