Whats Going On

A Couple Days Later

I woke up to the sound of the boys and Aya playing on the gaming system. I went downstairs and sat on the arm of one of the couches and watched them all play. "Hey can you help me make breakfast" Aya asked as she purposely walked in front of the guys causing them to holler.

"Shut up you're gonna wake up Kulture" Aya yelled, she turned back to me and smiled. "Yeah I'll help you" I said as I walked into the kitchen, we started making the food. Aya even taught me a few things. After about 30 minutes or more of cooking we finished up.

I placed all of the pancakes onto a big plate and did the same with the eggs, bacon, fruit, and I put the orange juice in a pitcher.

(Wait.... do y'all remember dat lil trend where mf's would yell Eggs bacon, grits, SAUSAGE and shit)

"Hey are you ok" Aya asked hugging me, "huh, yeah" I lied. I kept spacing out and thinking about Mike. Why wasn't he answering my calls? Or why were my text saying not delivered?

I pushed the thoughts away and then unplugged the tv. "Ayeeee" they all said in unison except for Jiggy he was practicing his gang ASL (American sign language).

(Ima just call gang signs gang asl cause it sound less ghetto)

Gang asl wasn't that different from regular asl, we had a few gang signs sprinkled in but instead of learning the entire alphabet we learn words for the most part. Some of us did learn the alphabet and others didn't want to meaning they didn't have to. I learned it just in case.

Jiggly looked up at everybody and then the tv and shrugged. "Somethin' smells good" Manny said, "there's food in th-" I couldn't even finish my sentence because they already had gotten up and rushed to the kitchen.

"Y'all did this" Kendrick asked, "yessir" Aya smiled her smile was so pretty. "Damn no wonder Mike didn't pull outta you" Manny the clown ass nigga joked, "shut up" I threw a little bit of egg at him.

After a little while the only noise in the room was peoples forks scrapping their plate and Manny chewing loudly so that he could get on my nerves. It didn't bother me though I was zoned out and didn't hear a thing.

"Bambi" I felt a hand on my back, I looked up and seen Jiggy. "Hmm" I said blinking a couple times, "thanks for the food" he hugged me and then walked over to the sink and started washing his plate and everyone else's. "It was no problem" I smiled at his attempt to be helpful, these rookies might not be too bad.

"Starr" I felt someone touch my shoulder this time, "huh what" I said as I turned around. "What's goin' on" Tony asked, "nothing I'm fine" I said faking a smile. "You've been spacing out all day, you didn't even hear Kulture crying" Spenc said, oh no Kulture.

"I'll be right back" I said, "where you going" Cohen asked. "To feed Kulture" I yelled in reply as I went up the stairs, I walked into the room and seen her staring at the little spiny thing at the top of her crib she giggled. "Hey mami" I smiled at her as I picked her up, there was a knock on my door. Kulture was gonna have to wait a minute.

"Come in" I responded, Aya came in and then sighed. "They starting to get weird down there" she said as she sat on my bed, "they're always being weird" I chuckled. "Do you breast feed" Aya asked me I could hear the curiously in her voice, "yeah I do, it's healthier for me and the baby" I said as I lifted my shirt.

"I heard it makes you skinny" Aya shrugged, "it does, I lost at least 2 pounds" I replied. "Why don't you feed her formula" Aya asked, "think about it like this, what the hell is in that shit? How is it powdery and why do I need to add water to it and put it in the microwave and all that shit" I asked in return.

"Hmm you right" she nodded her head, "does it hurt" she asked."Breastfeeding, yeah just a little bit" I shrugged, "oh umm" she was thinking of more questions to ask. She asked a loud of questions until I finished feeding Kulture who I now had to burp.

Once I finished up I went downstairs and then the boys kept asking me what was wrong. "Just tell us, please" Cohen said, how could I say no to that kid. "Mike hasn't texted me back and all of my calls go straight to voicemail and I'm worried that something might be wrong" I said fidgeting with the hem on my shirt.

"He's fine... I promise" Kendrick said giving me a little hug, "how do you know" I asked. Everyone looked at each  other with a "what do we say" look. "How. Do. You. Know. He's. Ok" I repeated, "we don't only Vallyk as access to talking to him" Lucas said finally.

It was kinda heartbreaking not being able to tell Bambi the truth. Vallyk sent Mike away on a "mission" in hopes that they'd forget about each other. I think the idea started working too well though, how could Mike forget about Bambi that fast?

"I wish we could tell her what's up" Lucas said sadly, "she'll be heartbroken when she finds out" I said. "I don't get why they can't just stay together and live happily ever after with Kulture or sum shit" Manny said cause us all to chuckle.

"It makes them, dangerous, weak even" Spenc finally started speaking up, "yeah their love for each other is sooooo dangerous" Jiggy said sarcastically. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "It's not necessarily their love it's the fact that they have a kid... if somebody god forbid were to get ahold of her..." I didn't want to finish my sentence.

"They'd either kill her out of spite, hold her for ransom, or just plain out do it to drive them crazy" Spenc said finishing my sentence. "But what I'd we keep all of that locked up so that no one ever knows about Kulture" Cohen bucked in, "thats difficult to do, just like we spoke and research or enemies they do the same with us" Aya said.

She was a bright kid, she knew so much already. All of these rookies were bright. Aya was smart, she was good at defusing bombs was and a quick learner. Jiggy had some really good aim and was deadly with a knife but he was also good at getting to your heart and playing psychological warfare on you. Cohen, he was a sharp listener and could remember anything you said to him he could also reload an gun insanely fast.

"We gotta tell her, she's gonna wonder why Mike hasn't come back from Jersey in a couple of weeks" Cohen said, "we can't though it's against our orders" Jiggy replied. "Fine we won't tell her and if her heart breaks and she gets all depressed and she starts acting different, don't say shit" Spencer said as he got up angrily.
