"It's ok mom, do you wanna reschedule for tomorrow? We'll procrastinate but it's ok we'll finish in time" I ask trying not to make her feel bad. "Yes please that would be great right now I went your godmother's house and I'm staying the night since I'm helping her make a cake for her birthday which is tomorrow so don't forget to say happy birthday to her. Okay?" (A/n: my godmother's birthday is actually on New Years which is kinda cool but in the story line the birthday is on December 31)
"Yes mom I'll see you tomorrow, bye I love you"
