I came to this world 20 years ago along with 5 other dragonets. 2 of them are my siblings. Twins. Female. Kaya and Hydra. Why on earth was I hatched as only male. Okay. Hydra, the strongest dragonet. Kaya, the spoiled and most annoying dragonet. The other 3 are from other families. Plasma, smartest and prettiest dragonet. Exon, is the shyest. And Hurricane, the "bravest" although I think he's a coward.
My father always brought us something called food to eat at our cave. They always bother me. I don't know why. Every Night Fury in my clan has a glow from when they were born. I was born with a blue glow, Kaya with pink, Hydra with green, Plasma with purple, Exon with yellow, and lastly, Hurricane with red. The colors may change during the Clovura(k-low-vo-ra), a colorful light that appears once every 15-20 years.
So, this the story my mother told me about my hatching. "It was a snowy day in the North. When all of the female dragons brought their eggs to the hatching cave, my egg was left in our cave by mistake so I was left to hatch without any help. Soon I hatched just like the others. However my family was just in time to pick me up for the naming ceremony. As soon as I climbed out of the eggshell, Mother walked up to me and gave me some beginner food. The other dragonets hatched but Mother came to check on my egg but as soon as she walked into the room, I was already on my feet. And believe me, she wasn't sure what to do. After I ate, Mother picked me up and we flew to the hatching cave.
After we appeared in the hatching cave, the naming ceremony started. Plasma was named first. It took her parents a long time to pick a name, but they got it after like 15 minutes. Then came Exon's name. His parents didn't take as long, about 5 minutes. Hurricane was next. I think his parents already had a list of names for him. They picked the name almost immediately after their family was called. My sisters' names were picked next. Because they were twins, they needed names picked by my father only. Finally my turn came. Mother and Father took the longest to pick. While I was wondering how to retract my teeth, they said this'Toohless!' I got so scared that my teeth retracted to show. I was the first dragonet to retract my teeth like that. Toothless. My name finally had been picked. My name is Toothless.
