The sweet, familiar aroma filled the living room as Mingi took a sip of the hot chocolate you prepared for the two of you Christmas morning. The chocolaty taste glided over his tastebuds with ease, warming his mouth. Mingi watched with gleaming eyes as you unwrapped the last gift from him to you.

You gasped slightly, gazing upon the sparkling object in your palms. It was a small, glass ornament, filled with gold glitter. On the inside there was also a picture of the two of you, one you took recently; to commemorate this being the first Christmas you two have spent with each other. You blushed at the sentimental note behind the gift, holding it carefully in your grasp.

"Do you like it?" Mingi whispered, putting his mug down. His eyes flickered from your face and down to the ornament repetitively, getting slightly scared from not hearing a response from you.

"Mingi," you looked up at him. Placing his gift on a small branch on the Christmas tree beside you, you faced him once again. Cupping his cheek with a palm, you stroked the skin below his eye as if to reassure him. You smiled sweetly staring at his puppy-doll eyes, them staring back at you with curiosity and intrigue. "It's beautiful, Mingi, I love it," you whispered.

Mingi smiled brightly at your words; a smile so wide his eyelids almost shut completely. Getting lost staring at his babyface, you placed your available palm against his other cheek, holding his face in your hands.

Leaning forward quickly, you placed a quick, chaste kiss to his lips, which he immediately returned. Once you two parted, you watched with adoring eyes as his own sparkled staring back at you.

"I love how I look into your big, loving eyes and see the world." You started, never averting your gaze anywhere else.

"Yeah, cause I see you." Mingi returned, only before placing another kiss on your warm lips gently.
