Love and Lust

Chapter 1

Sam was a 19 year old freshman in college. She had just graduated high school two months before in May. Her birthday was on April 10th. Her closest friends were there including her best friend Ally. The hottest boys from her school were there, but none of them appealed to her liking. Ally thought she was crazy but Sam was more interested in her school work.
(3 months earlier)
After everyone left the party, Ally and Sam went up to Sam's bedroom.
"Sam! That was crazy! Did you see all of those guys checking you out?! " Ally whisper-yelled. "Yeah, but I don't really care. Men should like you for who you are, not your body" Sam replies in a monotone voice. "Sam! Lighten up- you are such a buzzkill! You're 19 now. Get crazy, go to parties, get drunk, and hook up with guys! College doesn't last forever."
Sam replies before she is interrupted by Ally, " Yeah Ally, you're right, college doesn't last fore-" "Thank you!" "- ever. That's why I'm going to focus on my work!" Sam finishes. "Ugh. Fine. But you'll thank me Sam- after I take you to your first party!" Ally yelled. " I can not believe you got into the same college as me." Sam tells her. " Ha-Ha. Very funny. How about this- Ally starts, - I take you to one party and find you a boy, then you go drink and have fun. Let loose! C'mon please!!" "Fine. Alright, one party but that's it" Sam gave in. " Yes! Well, I'll see you tomorrow at orientation." Ally says as she reaches for a hug and leaves the room.
