-Alice-
The young girl groaned as she heard the alarm clock go off loudly in her ear. Alice hit the alarm clock a few times before actually hitting the off button. She opened her light hazel eyes and glanced at the calendar. "Winter vacation is over already..." Alice frowned heavily as she stood up and walked over to her drawers and began to pick out her outfit for school. Glancing at herself in the mirror and frowning. What she saw was something she was constantly bullied for. Most of the girls were skinny, straight beautiful hair with breathe taking eyes. Alice was the exact opposite. She had long curly hair that took a half an hour to brush and make it look somewhat presentable. Her eyes, in her opinion, were dull and boring. No wonder why she couldn't get a date to the winter ball. Pulling on her black hoodie, slipping her thumbs through the holes she had made to help keep her sleeves up. "Alice! You're going to be late!" The orphanage director shouted as Alice pulled up her ripped blue jeans. "Ill be right there!" Alice shouted back as she pulled on her grey converses. Grabbing her messenger bag, she flew down the stairs and ran out the door. Putting her messy hair up into a ponytail, Alice walked to her own personal hell. High school. The young girl clenched onto her old brown messenger bag tightly as she thought about all the things the popular kids could do to her now that they were back in school. Alice bit her pale lip tightly and saw the hell hole coming into her view. "Maybe this semester will be different......" She muttered to herself. She took a deep breath and quicken her step before the bell rung. The crowd of students, along with Alice, hurried into the school.
-Cole-
Cole smirked as the alarm went off beside his head. He quickly hit the off button and jumped out of his bed. "Sweet," he said excitedly, "they say this school is the best! Lets hope what they say is true." Cole walked into his closet and picked out his outfit for the day. A black muscle-tee and dark blue jeans. Quickly he brushed his golden locks out of his face and looked at himself in the mirror. Cole had moved into the town during winter break. He already made a bunch of friends by going to parties and hanging out with what they called the popular crowd. Though all the girls swooned over him, he learned to stay away from those girls. Cole sworn under his breath as he heard his friends car pulling up to his house. He didn't have enough time to eat breakfast or even make coffee. He grabbed his Jordan backpack and rushed out the front door. He hopped into his friends red convertible and laughed along with them. Watching the couple in the car flirt, Cole couldn't help but wonder if he would find a girl that would steal his heart. He smirked as they pulled out to the high school just in time. His friends, Jack and Heath pushed him around as they walked up the steps into the school. The couple, Daniel and Megan, were flirting and chilling in the back of the group. Megan laughed and pointed at girl with brown curly hair. "Oh my god! She actually came back!" Megan shouted. Cole looked at the shy girl then at his group of friends in confusion. "Ill explain later man," Jack said as he looked at Cole. "But we cant be late for class." Just as the bell rang, The Popular kids ran inside along the crowd. The thought of the curly haired girl lingered in Coles mind.
