I will be updating on a character's birthday and the chapter will be about that character's birthday (or not) but the update will be so late like a whole week later like I can't write quick I'm so slow even if I try to write and not get distracted

You were in the gymnasium, sitting on the bench and waiting for Kiyoko so you could say happy birthday and give her your present: a necklace with a small crow on it. You thought that she'd look stunning with it on.
All of a sudden, Tanaka and Nishinoya came running from across the other side of the gym to the door.
"Kiyokoooo-saaan!" They said in unison. The name caught your attention. "Happy birthday!!"
As she walked through the door she dodged the two boys' embrace which sent them to the floor. You sighed in relief.
You were so worried sometimes when they did that because Kiyoko could get hurt but you knew that would never happen.
Lost in thought, you didn't notice the countless amount of presents she was recieving and how much attention Tanaka and Nishinoya were giving her.
Looking back at the gift rlesting in your hands, you slowly placed it back into your bag, deciding to give it to her later since there was no way you could now, looking at the mess in front of you.
When you fixed your gaze again, you noticed that Yachi seemed to be struggling to get by the crowd but she managed to squeeze through, now making her way over to you (not even being able to say hi to Kiyoko through all the people.)
"Y/n! Hi!" She let out in relief.
"Hey! 'Lot of people, huh?" You questioned, patting the spot on the bench next to you. She sat down.
"Yeah, I was hoping I'd get to atleast say happy birthday, but... I don't think we'll quite get the chance to right now." She agreed.
A silent (yet not silent) few minutes passed and the crowd was about completely gone. Though the simp duo was still there, probably done fending everyone off but not done giving the goddess more compliments, once again making you jealous of their confidence to express their love so openly to her.
You ended up staring for to long without noticing and Yachi seemed to notice.
"Umm, Y/n..." She snapped you out of your trance and you turned, nodding to indicate that she carry on "I can't help but notice the look you're always giving Kiyoko... Do you uhh, like her?"
Your eyes widened and she saw this because-
"B-b-but sorry if I'm w-wrong i-it's just ummmm... Sorry! I'm sorry!" she started to panic and her face heated up as well as yours.
"N-no i-i uhhhh I..." you panicked too but switched to whisper "I do. I like her."
"Ah, well- you should go for it! I'm sure it will go well." Yachi was always the best one to reassure you and give advice. You were glad you had her as a friend.
Luckily not hearing the conversation, Kiyoko was finally able to make her way over to you two, and you weren't as red as you were before.
"Hi, Y/n. Hitoka." she greeted with a soft smile on her face that you just couldn't get enough of.
"Ah, hey! Happy birthday!" You tried to calm yourself down and not embarrass yourself- you did that one time and it was not fun.
"Yes, happy birthday Kiyoko." Yachi wore the same cheerful smile as you.
Once everyone was here, practice started quickly.

It seemed to have finished quite quickly, too, but mabye that was just you.
It was the perfect time to hand her your present, and to confess with the courage that you built up during practice.
You spied her coming out of the storage closet while you were getting the gift out of your bag and went up to her.
"Kiyoko..." she heard and turned to face you.
"Yes, Y/n?" she asked.
"U-umm, here's your present." You handed it over "Sorry I couldn't give it to you earlier..."
"It's okay, and thank you." she opened it with a smile on her face which became bigger when she saw what it was.
"It's beautiful!" she said while holding it up to get a good look at it.
'so are you...' you wished you could say but all the courage you had was gone so you just went for it quickly.
"So are you." you probably looked so wierd with that awkward smile on you face.
But she started softly laughing which worried you and it showed on your face.
Right now wasn't the best time but you decided that it was now or never.
"I.. like you."
Now your face was as awkward as ever as you waited for her reply.
She glanced back at the necklace and then back to you "I like you, too, Y/n."
Your face formed a surprised smile and grabbed her hand that wasn't holding the present.
"Then, will you be my girlfriend?" you became a bit too excited at this point.
"Of course" she said and nodded.
Looking down at the necklace you asked "Ummm, may I help you with this?"
Her nod indicated her answer. You took it from her and she held her hair up to let you clip it to the other side of the necklace.
Then you took a step back and she looked stunning. Just how you thought she would.
"Amazing." you told her.
"I love it!" she replied, admiring the crow attached in the middle.
"So... What are you doing for your birthday?"
"Nothing today, I'm going out tomorrow."
"C-can I take you out then?"
"I'd like that."
