Class was boring. Extremely boring. And you could tell that you weren't the only one, looking around the classroom, since you saw a few doodling in their notebook and someone sleeping.
Your head rested in your palms, your elbows on the table as you stared downward at the wooden table, not interested in what was going on above you.
But then you heard rustling from beside you and soon after, a nearly folded piece of paper landed right in your vision. It snapped you from your daze and you looked over at the direction it came from to see Himekawa, a classmate that you talked to every now and then. He gave a quick smile (which you found really cute) and you opened the note. It read:

You sent a smile back and started scribbling down a reply. 'yea, you?'. Then you realised how different your handwriting was and took a moment to appreciate how neat his was compared to yours. Realising how long you were probably taking, you folded it up on the crease lines and sent it back over to his desk, giving the same smile he gave to you.
You sighed if relief that you had something to do for the rest of the lesson and waited for the paper to be passed back.
There is was. You unfolded it again.

You let out a small laugh and put down your reply, already folding and passing it to him.
This went on for a while (you had to use multiple pieces of paper) and it definitely made the lesson better. The end result was:
