Everybody was dying with anticipation. Nia had her eyes open, surveying the sky, the sea, the grounds. They could come from any direction, in any way. After a long wait, she heard sounds of horses. Unicorns or Pegasus' maybe. Her eyes shot up to the sky, slowly adjusting to the light, where she saw it. A dozen Abraxans pulling a giant coral blue carriage. The horses were huge. The size of an elephant probably. It was hard to tell, but the more closer they came, the more noticeable it was.
Nia had her mouth opened in astonishment. She never saw any Abraxans in real life. She had seen unicorns in the Forbidden forest a couple of times when she went with Luna and once when she had detention with Hagrid, which didn't really bother her since it gave her an excuse to know more about the creatures in the forest and spend time with Hagrid. She saw a Pegasus once, but she couldn't remember where.
By the time Nia finished examining the elephant-sized horses, everybody had realized where the wind flapping noises were coming from and looked up. She heard a lot of whispers and "ouh" from the students. When the carriage was coming closer to landing, everybody stepped back a few spaces to not get crushed by the Abraxans. Unfortunately for Hagrid, he had to jump in the lake.
When the blue carriage landed safely, the door swung open and a very tall and broad woman stepped out of the carriage, followed by a little over a dozen of students. Nia assumed it was their Headmistress. She was at least 10 foot tall and was wearing a faux fur black scarf around her neck with cheetah print robes. The students were all dressed in a beautiful blue uniform. The shade of blue was a little more darker than the carriage.
Nia's eyes fell on two girls, sisters she thought. The oldest one had beautiful silvery-blond hair in a low ponytail with gorgeous dark blue eyes like the ocean during a storm. Her poised poster was perfect. Her lips formed into a thin line. The youngest one looked exactly like her, except she was shorter and had a cheerful smile. She noted in her mind that if she ever has a chance to talk to them she'd let them how lovely they look.
Nia looked around to the other students. Girls and boys. She thought that it was an all girls Wizarding school, but apparently that information was wrong. Nevertheless, they were all gorgeous.
Her eyes fell on a handsome young man, coming out of the carriage last with a bright smile on his face unlike the others. She guessed he was about two or three years older than her. He had dark blond hair. It was a bit messy, but that didn't matter since it looked purposeful and handsome.
His eyes... Hazel eyes. Her weakness. Well, all mixed coloured eyes were her weaknesses like Draco's for example. The mix of grey with the different shades of blue in his eyes were mesmerizing.
She quickly focused again on the Beauxbaton boy. His jawline was sharp and defined, but there was a touch of softness to it. His color skin was slightly more tanned than the ones of his peers. His smile was charming. He was gorgeous.
