Beep beep beep

I opened my eyes slowly while smacking my alarm.

"It's way too early for this.."

"(Y/n)! Hello!" Eren busts into my room like it was nothing.

"Eren! How did you get in!" I sat up shocked.

"Oh your mom let me in, she told me to come in here and wake you up to remind you what today is!"

"Wait, I was wondering why I had an alarm for 7 am.. What is today?"

"Glad you asked! Today is the day we can choose what scout regiment we join."

"Ohhhh yeah I remember now, ah okay you, out, let me get ready."

As I shoved Eren out of my room, I went to the shower. I turned the knob in the shower and the hot water almost immediately came spilling out. It felt nice, especially because the morning was cold. 

I step into the shower after getting undressed and felt the warm water run through my scalp and down my body.

"Today is gonna be a good day (Y/n).. Today is gonna be a good day.."

I step out the shower and put on my uniform, I wore a white shirt and white jeans, I strapped my 3DM straps and buckles on, as well as slid on my boots and put on my training regiment jacket.

I brushed out my hair putting it into a a pony tail, combing the top to make it slicked back so no baby hairs would get in my way while training today, if we even do any, and I head out my room.

"There she is!" My mom said with a bright smile on her face reaching out to hug me.

"Good morning mom." I replied as I went in for her hug.

She patted my back and pulled away, looking at me with a huge smile on her face.

"I can't believe you are getting to choose your scout regiment today! Where do you think you will be going?"

"Eh probably the Wings of Freedom, I want to venture outside the walls and see what is out there, maybe more humans are beyond the horizon out there."

"Ah that must be fun! Your father would have been so proud. Now eat some breakfast I made you before you go."

"Alright."

I walk into the dining room to get a big whiff of waffles, bacon, and eggs. There was even some fruit on the table. (fruit of your choice)

I sat down next to Eren who was already digging in having the time of his life. He looked like a kid who has never eaten anything like it.

"This food tastes great Mrs. (L/n)!" Eren spoke with his mouth stuffed.

"Glad you like it, Eren." My mother replied chuckling.

After breakfast we headed out the door, saying goodbye to my mom and starting to walk down the sidewalk.

We walked in silence thinking about our decisions and why we are doing this. But we didn't go through all this training for nothing, we were ready to take on the world beyond the walls. Who knew where this would go, or if were even ready. But it's time to start our next adventure.
