it wasn't the first time jungkook met him. in fact, the first time he saw him, he never ever want to see him again.

it's not like the man was rude, no. that wasn't the case. he may look intimidating (despite the height difference they have), the man seems nice. well, kind of. they never had a proper conversation--never. because whenever the said man attempts to say something, jungkook would run away with a speed of light.

jungkook doesn't hate him. not at all.

he just hates how whenever they crossed paths, something embarrassing happen; just like the first time when--

"holy shit, that's min yoongi!" taehyung whisper-shouted, as if jungkook doesn't know him. of course he knows him. he's pretty popular around the campus. that is why jungkook was confused when the min yoongi approached them--him. and- how the fuck did he know me?

he probably saw it in his eyes how confused he was, which made yoongi smile a bit and-oh. butterflies inside my stomach. the butterflies didn't last long though, unfortunately. because what the older male said afterwards made jungkook really really flustered, that he wished the floor could swallow him whole out of embarrassment.

yoongi handed him a hoodie that is oddly similar to what he was wearing, which he confusedly accepts as he stared at it. "thats your hoodie, i believe, because of the tag inside where your name was written," he said, "what you are wearing now is my hoodie." he smiled shyly as he scratched his nape awkwardly. jungkook would think he's cute, but in this kind of situation..

you know, jungkook suddenly had a courage to flex how fast he can run. would be nice if he did that to impress the older male in front of him but, unfortunately--

he sprinted out of the campus as he internally screamed. he ignored taehyung calling out his name, probably trying to catch up (but failed miserably). oh no, he aint gonna stop running, not until he reached his home and throw himself on the bed because of embarrassment. jungkook hoped they wont ever cross paths again.

but he remembered he had to give yoongi back the hoodie he thought was his. he was able to give it back in peace, though. and no, he didn't gave it personally. after that, he tried his hardest to avoid the senior male. jungkook will be forever embarrassed about it.

but life loves to test him, and its a bit annoying, you see. because their paths once again crossed, and, well, another reason for jungkook not to look yoongi in the eye ever again.

it went like this---

"why are you on my lap?" the voice was raspy, you could tell that they just woke up from a nap. jungkook wasn't even suspicious of the voice because it does sounds like his jimin hyung when he wakes up. so, he remained comfortable on the man's lap. thank goodness that everyone else in the bus was minding their own business so it was even more comfortable for the younger.

"you were asleep, your things occupied the seat beside you," jungkook reasoned out, "i dont want to wake you up, though."

"one question, why do you have a basketball with you? you never brought one, jimin hyung." he asked, the confusion on his voice was evident. when the older male didn't respond, he turned around a bit to face the said male who had his mask on. jungkook was staring at the male who had his eyes covered with his front hair, making him grin. "wow, hyung, your hair's getting long."

"jungkook," he pulled down the mask that was covering half of his face as he stared at the younger male, "its yoongi."

"oh." oh, fuck. here we go again.

the moment the bus came to a halt, jungkook got up from his lap and was about to drag his bag along with him. he muttered a sorry, bowing his head a bit before rushing to leave the bus, not giving the older male a chance to talk again.

as much as jungkook adores the older male, he'd rather not meet him again. "you're really not coming, kook?" jimin asked as he pokes the younger male's cheek.

jungkook shakes his head, "im not really hungry," he smiled apologetically to the two males standing in front of him. lies. he's actually hungry, but he'd rather not go to the cafeteria because the chance of seeing him is high, and he just wants to avoid him at all cost.

taehyung frowned, "you've been doing this for a month now. you-know-who probably had forgotten about it."

jimin looked at taehyung in disbelief, "why do you refer him that as if his name got some curse?" he asked, frowning before he continued, "he aint voldemort, tae."

"yeah, but kook panics whenever he hear his name," taehyung said as he let out a chuckle. jungkook could only roll his eyes and huff.

"anyway, kook," jimin pouts, "c'mon, the hyungs missed you. and--" a growl interrupted the oldest male of the three. it wasn't that loud, but since they were the only ones in the classroom, it was loud enough for them to hear it. jungkook blushed as he looked down to see his stomach.

"--you're hungry. so, lets go." there's no point for jungkook to keep making excuses anymore. the youngest finally gave in, and the trio left the room.
