the moment when the bell started to ring, jungkook was the first one to stand up from his seat. he felt awkward staying there that he wished he can dig the floor and stay there for as long as he can. and so, hearing the bell was a signal for him to yeet himself out of the cafeteria, far, far away from the cat-like eyes staring on his soul.

"where are you going?" asked seokjin immediately while raising an eyebrow. seokjin was really fast to react, as if he have been watching the younger all the time since he got there.

"i have class, of course." jungkook replied matter-of-factly, "my next class is literally in the seventh floor." that is true, but jungkook can just actually sprint his way all the way up there and his hyungs knows it. but there are times that he doesn't want to do that, and maybe he could use that as an excuse just to avoid yoongi who was.. well.. looking at him as well. not that jungkook was looking at him, but, he can literally see him on his peripheral view.

jungkook tried his very best to act natural so his hyungs wont suspect anything. and surprisingly, it worked. he almost sighed in relief. almost. what he just told them was the truth with a little bit of lie. yes, it is true that his next class was located in the seventh floor, he didn't told them that it is actually his vacant because apparently, their supposedly professor in his next had some errands to attend to and just refused to have a substitute. and because of that, no, he won't be going to the seventh floor. he'll hide in the library instead with his sketchbook and probably do some vent art in peace.

"so, uh.. bye?" he grinned as he awkwardly waved his hand to his hyungs, "i'll see you guys later after class, i promise!" jungkook said as he started running, leaving the cafeteria. he can still hear what seokjin yelled at him: "you better, jeon jungkook!"

"our maknae is acting weird," hoseok said when jungkook was finally out of their sights, "his face was red and has his head low all the time. do you think he's sick?" there was a hint of concern on his tone. jungkook have been acting really strange, and they cannot deny that. seokjin on the other hand has been trying to control himself not to interrogate the younger male because jungkook wasn't the type to tell what was wrong, not until he finally figured it out and that is when he could open it up. but 'til then, jungkook won't say a thing and will try to keep it to himself. and usually, seokjin wasn't the only one who felt uneasy whenever the youngest acts like this-- there's kim taehyung and park jimin, who are undeniably closest to the youngest. but right now, as seokjin stared at the two males who were strangely quiet while eating their meals calmly, he thinks that they know what is up.

seokjin cleared his throat, catching everyone's attention, including the two males he intended to talk to, "both of you knows something," he pointed out, "spill it out."

of course, hyung would be the first one to notice. that is probably what the 95 liners a.k.a soulmates' first thought. despite that, they were still flustered. they became the center of attention of the three-- well in this case, four seniors, because there is min yoongi.

"well... i-" taehyung spoke first, but jimin elbowed his side, making him shut up. thanks to that, they grew even more suspicious towards them and indirectly confirmed that they know what's up.

"so, its true then?" namjoon asked, "something happened to him, what is it?"

jimin bit his lips, he was hesitant, "we can't really tell you. jungkook would beat us to death," he chuckled.

"so, you meant to say that this is not his usual self?" yoongi finally spoke as he look at namjoon and seokjin, clearly talking about what both of the males asked towards taehyung and jimin. there was curiosity in his tone, and oh dear, he might even have a clue why was he acting that way.

"i mean, jungkookie is pretty awkward with new people and would remain silent all the time just like earlier so we don't really question it," hoseok answered after he finished drinking his sprite, "in fact, we would have understand how quiet he was earlier because you're here, he doesn't know you. i mean, he would have probably heard of you of course, and saw you a couple of times. but he never had an interaction with you." never. that word itself makes yoongi want to chuckle, but he kept it in and nodded his head instead.

"exactly," seokjin agreed, "he was never that red around new people! if there is someone that would be as red as tomato, that would be me!" the statement made them laugh, even seokjin himself. there is no denying about that because even right now, his ears are already starting to turn red.

"that's funny," yoongi said as he look at taehyung and jimin. jimin, who had a gut that yoongi would tell something, had his eyes wide as panic is starting to consume his body while shaking his head in the most subtle as possible as a sign of no. but yoongi only raised an eyebrow, acting as if he doesn't have any clue what was the sign about. "because the last time i saw him, he's just as red as tomato like he was earlier."

fucking hell. jimin facepalmed internally. oh how he wish he could punch min yoongi in the name of his baby named jungkookie, because despite how strong the youngest could be and could just knock the senior out easily, he prefer to yeet himself instead. taehyung turned his head to look at jimin, mouth slightly agape and eyes wide.

ah yes, more reason for jungkook to just... poof.
