Taehyung stared at the female in pure shock, his eyes switching between hers and her lips that had been on his just seconds ago. Leilani on the other hand turned completely shy. Both their cheeks were bright red, hearts beating at the speed of sound in their chests. No one of those two really knew what to say in the moment, especially Taehyung, his mind running wild. Why had she kissed him? Did she know it was his first kiss? Why did he want to kiss her lips again? They had felt so soft and warm against his, almost like pillows. For him it had felt so right, it felt so good having her lips firmly pressed against his but he couldn't tell why. Why would he enjoy kissing a human? One of the race he hated so much. But he knew from the day she has stood up to that rude man that she was different from the rest. He had always been able to smell it on her. The sweetness.

"I uh... I r-read it somewhere that when you kiss s-someone who's having a panic attack that they hold their breath.. a-and uhh... that's what you d-did..." Her voice had pulled him out of his thoughts and his eyes away from her lips to meet her gaze again. "I-It's ok-kay... I uh..." Leilani bit the inside of her cheeks, staring at his flustered face before crawling off his bed and dashing out his room. Before she closed the door behind her body she yelled out a quick "Goodnight" and then ran to her room where she hid under her blanket.

Leilani laid awake in her bed, just staring up at the ceiling. Her thoughts kept her wide awake. Was there another way she could have calmed him down? Of course there was. But in her panicked state she couldn't think of any, so she went with the first thing that popped into her head. She really wanted to slam her forehead against a wall for what she did. It would be so awkward between them now, that's one thing that was clear for her. How is she gonna face him again? Should she just act like it never happened? Why does she want it to happen again tho? At that question she asked herself her eyes went wide. Why would she even think that. Because of how heart went crazy after that kiss? Because of the butterfly's she had felt in her belly? Because of how good his lips felt against hers? Because of the sparks that tingled on her skin from the kiss? It was clear to her. She might have kissed a few people before and had boyfriends, but kissing them didn't feel nearly as right as it did with him. Her mind just kept telling her to kiss him again, that they were meant to end up in that kind of relationship. But was it just wishful thinking? Was she really catching feelings for the tiger hybrid she had taken home?

Relationships between humans and hybrids weren't forbidden. There had been many cases where they fell in love with each other and even got married, up to having kids. It wasn't against the law either. Just like humans, hybrids also had rights, not as many as the human kind but they still had some. Of course many humans didn't care about the law and made hybrids their slaves, abused them or simply handled them like full animals. Hybrids weren't allowed to roam around freely like humans, they needed to be adopted and under the care of one or more person. But of course just like there were bad humans there were bad hybrids. Those got handled just like humans. The police would arrest them, they end up in curt and from there their fate gets decided. Politicians tried their best to make it as fair as possible but sadly there were to many humans that only think of hybrids as animals.

The past week had ended just like Leilani expected it to. Awkward. The two barely spoke a word to another. Only sitting at the same table during meals. Taehyung had stayed in his room most of the time. Both of them hab been fully stuck in their minds, arguing with themself's what they felt for the other.

Leilani sat alone in the living room, curled up in her blanket as she watched a movie. She was so focused on the current scene that she didn't notice the tiger hybrids door opening, nor did she hear his steps that got closer to her with each passing second. She had only finally noticed him when he stood right in front of her vision, staring down at her with a determined expression on his face. Leilani looked back up at him confused and before she could say a word he had pushed her to lay down, crawling on top of her. The females eyes grew twice in size at the hovering man above her. "Taehyung what are you-" His lips stopped her from finishing her sentence. He was kissing her. The hybrids lips moved slowly against hers, his eyes closed.

He was nervous since he didn't really know how to kiss, also worried that she was gonna push him away and then slap him for forcing himself onto her. But he's been wanting to kiss her again the whole week. The need had finally grown to much so he finally moved up from his bed and followed her scent. And that's where they were now. He was about to pull away from her, his heart hurting from the lack of responds of the female. But finally she snapped out of her shock and kissed him back. All his fear and nerves left his body in relieve. Their lips moved perfectly against another, slow and passionate. Leilani had lifted her arms only to wrap them around Taehyung's shoulders while they kissed.

Neither of them wanted to pull out of their kiss anytime soon. Both had been wanting this badly for days. But the need of air and a string in their lungs had them pull apart, breathing heavily. They both still had their eyes closed, both wishing it wasn't just a dream. Almost at the same time they opened their eyes, gazing at each other with smiles growing on their lips.

"I'm sorry if I surprised you.. but I couldn't wait any longer. After that night... all I kept thinking about were your lips. I don't know what you're doing to me Lei. Shouldn't I hate you because your of their kind? But I don't. I could probably never bring myself to hate you even the slightest. You make me feel things I've never felt before. And I... I n-never kissed anyone b-before.." At the end of his little speech his cheeks turned bright red, wanting nothing more then to hide his face in embarrassment. But Leilani on the other side couldn't help her growing smile, her heart skipping a beat from his words. "I feel the same TaeTae. You've taken over my mind completely. And you don't know how special it makes me feel that I was your first kiss. Even tho our first one wasn't really... that romantic." Her smaller hands gently cupped his red cheeks, rubbing her thumbs slowly over his smooth skin. For the male her smile and gentle touches they were so calming, his heart going crazy inside him. "Then let's make sure our first date is extra romantic then? So what do you say...
