"L-Leilani you... I'm..."
"Are you okay Taehyung? Please don't listen to this dumb person he's just a plain ass bitch that's all." Leilani tried her best to keep her anger low, her voice softer when she spoke to the Tiger boy. It completely broke her heart when someone was being misjudged just for being different. So the only logical thing that she could think off was to wrap her arms around the taller males waist and hug him tightly, completely ignoring her shyness. Her ear rested close to his heart where she could hear it starting to beat faster, making her wonder if it were because he was uncomfortable in any way.
Taehyung was beyond shocked. Not only had this female human stood up for him, no, she also dared to touch him now. He knew that if any other person would even just try to get close to him he'd snap their heads off. But she... she was different. His heart ran a marathon in his chest while he, with shaking hands, wrapped his own arms around her smaller frame, allowing himself to be comfortable around her. It felt to good for him. Having her in his arms brought warmth this his chest, her sweet scent filling his nostrils stronger then ever. He was addicted to the way she fit so perfectly in his arms. Like a missing puzzle piece that finally found its other half. From that moment on Taehyung knew that if they would ever separate for whatever reason, his heart would break.

Later that day Leilani sat on the couch, her mind still running wildly. After they had quietly pulled away from another the rest of the day had been rather awkward, both not knowing what to say anymore. After they had ate their ice cream the pair went back home only to go their separate ways. Taehyung had been in his room, the same thoughts also ghosting through his mind. Neither of them knew how to approach the other now, not wanting to make it even more awkward then it already was.
After another hour spend just sitting on the sofa and staring at the tv that wasn't even turned on, Leilani finally stood up and made her way lazily in her room. Her staring contest wasn't over yet tho. Now she was sitting on her bed, staring out the window at the sky. It wasn't completely night time yet, but the sun was already settling down which made the sky light up in the prettiest of colors. For her the night was her favorite part of the whole day. The stars and moon calmed her nerves together with the fresh breeze that would come through her opened window. Leilani knew she would sit like this until she could finally stare at the moon and take in all its glory.
Suddenly a soft knock was heard from her room door. She knew it could only be Taehyung. A robber wouldn't knock on the door. Not moving her eyes away from the sky she spoke up softly. "Come in." Shortly after she spoke the door already opened, a shy Tiger walking inside but when he spotted her, he stopped dead in his tracks. Her face was tugged up in a small and calm smile, her skin had a certain glow to it from the soft pink lights outside, her hair fell down her shoulders and back so smoothly it looked like silk. Taehyung was starstruck by the sight he had right in front of him. He never knew that a small human girl could make him forget all the words he had planned to say to her. But here he was, completely forgotten what he first had come to her room for.
Leilani could sense him staring at her. But what she didn't know was the admiring look in his eyes, the way they sparkled while they moved over her figure. Gently she pat the space next to her with her hand, his eyes snapping down to her mattress. "Sit with me." He felt like he was in trance, immediately walking over to her. "I hope I don't bother you in anyway.." He sounded small and shy, fiddling with his fingers nervously. The male sat next to her, but made sure not to sit to close in fear of her hearing his heart that was once more hammering in his chest, mentally cursing himself for acting this way around her. But the female didn't even notice how he acted, her smile widening slightly. "You've never been a bother to me Tae."
Eyes wide and cheeks bright red he looked down at his lap. The little nickname she gave him caused the male to lose his trust in his own voice, not wanting to sound wimpy. And to make his situation even worse she started to lean closer to him suddenly, resting her head on his shoulder. Taehyung held his breath for a few seconds, moving his eyes to stare down at her face. And once more he forgot how to function with her this close. She was so close to him, her eyelashes fluttering once in a while. Taking all the courage he had inside him while also telling himself that he was a man and to grow some balls, he moved one arm around her waist, pulling her even closer. He was still the same guy who had shamelessly stood naked right in front of her after all.
"Leilani... can I tell you something?" Hearing his voice her head moved just the slightest, looking up at him through her lashes. "Of course you can Tae." A soft hum left her throat, snuggling just a little more into his warmth. "I don't know what it is about you that makes me want to trust you so much. With such small actions you make me feel things I haven't felt before. It's all so new to me. No human has after stood up for me, and screamed at their own kind. You're so different from all the other ones and it shows more and more. But not only that. You give me this feeling. Leilani you...
... feel like home."
