Moving all your clutter from your parent's house to your apartment was a workload. But after realizing how much junk you hoarded you ended up getting rid of most of it.

The apartment was nice considering the low rent, and you managed by yourself.

Whilst living there, you had heard back from multiple schools across the country.

This was to no surprise, giving that the last four years of your life were spent studying or working.

After going through loads of  emails, you decided for one that specializes in business.

The school was pretty big, and for someone like me who was wearing sweats I tried to hide my expression so people wouldn't mistake me for lost.

The main building had two big cream doors, followed with white windows on each side.

I felt something warm brush up against my shoulder.

"Uhm, Excuse me?" Someone  muttered out.

I turned to see who was there, "Hey, can I help you?"

"Do you happen to know where the dormitories are located?"

She seemed scared, twirling her fingers around in her hand, eyes straight to the ground.

"Yeah! For girls, they're at building C, But I'm going there too so I can show you if you would prefer." I replied.

A big smile grew across her face.

"Thank you! You're so kind!"

I smiled back, and carried my luggage to the to the big blue building that was called 'Building C' on the school maps.

On the way to my assigned room, she ended up finding hers and left with a wave.

I scrambled through my sweat pockets to try and find my keycard, and slid it across the handle.

I knew that I'd be sharing with someone else but still, I didn't expect it to be this spacious.

It was sort of like a studio, a big room with a bed and desk on either side of the wall.

On the left, it connected to another room which I assumed was the bathroom.

I heard the water running, so my roommate was probably bathing which was fine by me! More time to unpack without interruptions.

I looked around, and finally found a small closet to hide some useless boxes in.

The closet had an empty wooden shelf on the top, perfect.

The only problem was..

I'm 5'5.

The shelve was about two inches up from my reach.

If I thought packing everything was a hassle, I was wrong.

I was stretching every bone in my arm to try and reach that shelf, but whatever I tried only the tips of my fingers would brush against the wood.

"Here, let me help."

I felt something warm behind me, I couldn't tell what it was at the moment but something was stretching over my head and taking the cardboard box from my hand to gently place on the shelve.

They were close, I could feel their heartbeat getting louder and louder behind me.

Beating against my backside, as I felt there breaths on the tips of my ear.
