Chapter one: Moving to London

Great I thought I'm moving to London to live with my cousin! And I'm stuck on a plane! I sighed and started shaking my leg. I couldnt sit still I was still trying to figure out why my parents are sending me so far away. I sighed againand my eyes. I woke up to a woman tapping my shoulder "Hey young man the plane has landed." she said and walked away, I stood up, groaned, I finally got my things and waited for my cousin outside while having a smoke. I put my hand in my pocket, took out my cell, read a text from Rose.

"Be there in five!"

I put my cell back in my pocket as I seen a car approch, it was Rose. I threw my ciggarette away and got in the car "Hey little cousin!" Rose said "Hey." I said back "Where's Melissa?" I asked, Rose sighed " A doctor's appointment. You'll see her tonight." "Is she okay?" I asked "No Ryder but she will be. Hey listen Ryder you'll like it here and you are meeting some of Mel's and I's old mates tonight." "Your friends? Tonight?" Rose nodded. I took a long breathe and sighed "Hey you'll meet people soon." Rose said "Yeah." I mumbled.

We pulled into the driveway and got out of the car, I froze and took a long look at the house. Rose had opened the front door "This is home now." I nodded as I made my way into the house. Rose brought me to my room so I could unpack and get ready to meet her friends. After I was done Rose gave me a tour of the house, Rose's cell went off "I'ts Melissa." Rose went into the kitchen and I went out the front door to have a cigarette. As I closed the door behind me I noticed a girl on her step "Hey!" I called out, she turned her head to look at me, she stood up and walked over to me. "you have an extra cigarette and nice accent. Where are you from?" I handed her a cigarette "Thanks and Canada. My name's Ryder I just moved here."I said "Sweet! I'm June. Oh you must be Rose's cousin?" I nodded "Yeah." June smiled "Cool." "Ryder!" I heard Rose say "I see you met June." I nodded. "June you should come by tonight." Rose said "I will!" replied June "See ya Ryder." I turned around "Really?" I aked Rose, she gave me a smile "I told you, you would meet people."

Later that night people started showing up after Melissa got home i was sitting on the couch listening to a conversation Rose was having with someone. "Ryder." I heard a familure voice I looked up, it was June. I gave her a small smile as she took a seat beside me "Hey." I said "Wanna go up stairs for a bit?" she asked. I stood up ofering her my hand, she took it. We finally got into my room, June sat on my bed taking her bag off and unzipped it, she pulled out a bottle of rum and a botlle of Coke. June smirked as she pulled out two red cups and started mixing the drinks. I took a seat beside her "Here." she said passing me a cup "Thanks." June smiled. A few minutes later and we were on our thrid drink, talking abd laughing like no one was in the house "Be right back bathroom break.: I got up and left my room, I bumped into this girl "Ow! Watch it!" she said "Sorry." I said "Rose's cousin?" she asked "Yeah." "Figures." She said and walked away. Who the hell was that? I went back into my room."Hey that was fast." I nodded taking a seat beside June, I turned to her "Thanks for this." I said "No problem. What are you doing tomorrow?" I raised my eyebrow "I don't know yet why?" "There's this party my mate is throwing." "Oh well I'll see." I mumbled. June's phone went off "Who's that?" I said "My Dad he says I have to be home soon. Lame I wanted to finish that bottle. You know what? You have it." I gave her a puzzled look "Are you sure?" "Yes." June stood up and kissed my cheek, I stood up and escorted her home.

I got back inside my house, the party still going on, I saw Melissa talking to the girl I bumped into, "Hey cous." I heard Rose "Did you have fun with June?" I nodded "Why do you smell of alcohol?" "Because Rose I have alcohol and I am of age." Rose chuckled. "Rose? Who's that girl talking to Mel?"I asked Rose sighed "Why?" I shrugged "Listen Ryder don't go messing with the wrong people." "Then why the fuck is she here?" Rose sighed again "Mel's friend." I nodded "I see." I mumbled. I left my cousin to go see Melissa "Ryder." I hear Mel, I made my way to her "Yeah?" Mel smiled "This is Alison or rather known as Ali." "Hi." I said shaking Ali's hand "Yeah the boy who bumped into me." I nodded "Well nice meeting you Ryder." Ali smirked "Yeah you to."

After everyone left I climbed the stairs and went into my room, I layed down on my bed, turned my head and stared at the bottle June gave me, I couldn't help but smile at the thought of her but  another part of me wants to know Alison and I just can't figure out why.
