3rd person - only for this quick backstory of Kat and Morgan.

MORGAN HERNADEZ, Born on Christmas eve, it was a surprise. well for her real mother at least, she had become a single mother at the age of only just 16, got knocked by one of her close best friends, she was scared, she didn't know how to tell the father.
They fought all the time and realized their relationship was over, but Morgan came and it upset her mom she didn't wanna feel tied to the guy who cheated on her and left, so she did what she had to do.
She went through a fail abortion, why did it fail and didn't succeed, well the doctor who was working on her, who had one job and failed miserably at it. the tube that was supposed to get rid of the baby for good didn't go into place after four tries. when it did, she was still pregnant, unknown how to solve this problem she gave up, she didn't know what to do anymore.
Her parents kicked out and gave her a decision, if she could get rid of her baby, she could come back, if not, then raise it alone, shitty ass parents I must say, but it was the truth.
Sadly enough she warmed up to her baby, 7 months living with her new boyfriend at the time, Her boyfriend tried his best to make good out of the situation, going to appointments with her, teasing her about the gender, telling her that he would try his best.
but, it wasn't enough, after hearing her babygirl's heartbeat for the first time, it made her sad, she couldn't support herself or the baby, not even her boyfriend could, it was too stressful, they were both young and the guilt of putting the baby on him even though it wasn't his killed her, she couldn't do that.
so, one day a miracle happened, a stressed couple walked into the hospital after suffering their first very miscarriage, it was sad, they tried everything to build a family, mostly just desperate for a child of their own.
The young teen mom saw them through a glass window, seeing the heartbreak on their faces, she rubbed her stomach. little Morgan was kicking for the second time that day, she smiled and whispered something under her breath, "I promise, I will give you a good life."
The teen mom had gotten up slowly walking to the woman who clanged against her husband, gaining comfort and support from him, the women and the man felt a presence and slowly looked up and saw a young pregnant kid, words were exchanged.
agreements were made.
Adoption was finalized, having rights to the newborn.
2 months later they went home with their dream child, Morgan Sofia Hernandez, it was a perfect name, they were felt guilty for taking a child away from its real mother but, it was for the best.
