Chapter 15

Sophie's POV

She scared me when i walked in, she was sitting on the couch with her hands in her lap and her head was down and her shoulder was shaking indicating that she was crying.

"Tess?" I asked coming toward her. She lifted her head and wiped the tears.

"Sit." She spoke lightly patting the spot beside her. I sat and looked at her. "Well theres no easy way to say this but.... you remember that big college we applied for? Well they just called and we got exepted! But they want us to come meet with them as soon as possible so they scheduled a plane for us in 2 days." She spoke fast but I understood each word.

"What do we tell Jack and Cam?" I managed to get out. "This means we have to leave them and magcon." She nodded and looked down. A single tear rolled down my cheek. I didn't wipe it away, i left it there till it dripped on to my hands.

I pulled Tess into my arms and we sat like this for a while. We talked about what we will tell the boys and how to tell them. "It's going to be okay." I said to Tess but it wasn't only for Tess. I thought the more I said it the more I thought I would be able to believe it myself.

Tess straightened as she heard someone at the door. I turned my head to the door just in time to see Cameron come in. He shut the door his back to us. He turned around and worry shred arcoss his face. "What happened? What's wrong? Are you okay?"

He ran over to the couch wrapping his arms around Tess pulling her into his arms. "We need to... uh... talk." She spoke giving me a quick glance. I gave her a slight smile as a patted her back.

"It all started before Magcon, Me and Sophie just got out of high school and were looking for colleges to attend. We applied for this really big college in NYC. They told us they would contact whenever they new anything. Today i just got a letter... we got in." Tess looked up to Cameron whose eyes found their way to the floor as well.

"So what happens to us?" Cameron said his eyes looking right into Tess's. She put her little hand on his arm.

"Let's not worry about that and just enjoy the next 2 days together." She said very quietly that I could barely hear her.

"2 days?" Camerons voice was in shock and tears escaped his eyes. Tess just pulled him into a hug and he wrapped his arms around her tightly.

I cleared my throat and got up. "I'm going to..um talk to Jack." I walked out of the door turning back stealing a glance at Tess and Cameron.

I opened the front door of me and Jacks apartment slowly just to stall so i didn't have to explain anything, but i didn't have a choice I had too. Jack came from the stairs and saw me.

"What did Tess want?" I offered a little smile and walked over to him slowly and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around me and I whispered in his ear, "I love you." He pulled me back looking at me.
"I love you even more."
