"probably even happier than us.." seulgi choked out, "son seungwan, kang seulgi's girlfriend.." she added, tears dripping onto the page. this would've been the last time wendy ever wrote in her diary. after that, something tragic happened to her which ended her life. this was all seulgi had left of her, it was the only thing she was able to save when the house went down in flames. it had nearly been a year since that happened but she was still not over it, wendy meant everything to her. wendy was the only person who truly cared about her and wanted to stay by her side. from then on, she had no one, she was all alone.

"it's been almost a year since tragedy struck over the son household, killing the entire family but kang seulgi who was reported to have also lived there as she was the girlfriend of son seungwan, the youngest daughter." the reporter on tv said, showing pictures of the still burnt down house. she switched off the tv, sobbing harder. she felt like it was her fault as she wasn't able to save any of them. she did try to but she wasn't able to reach them as they burned to their deaths. she did call an ambulance and firefighters but by the time they got there, they were no longer alive.

she could recall hearing wendy and her parents calling out for help but she wasn't able to save them as it wasn't safe for her to back through the house. she could've also died that day but she had safely got out but at what cost? she lost her girlfriend and parental figures, the only kind of family she had left. her parents had kicked out once they found out she liked girls and her brother refused to contact her, he also wasn't supportive of her sexuality.

she even thought of giving up and ending it all but her multiple attempts didn't seem successful obviously since she was still alive. at this point, she decided to give it up and just keep living even though she didn't want to. recently, she had started going to therapy which was helping just a little bit. "seungwan-ah, i still love you and i always will..." she muttered, hiding the diary as she let more tears drop. she vowed to herself that she would never forgot wendy, no matter what. she may even move on in the future but doesn't mean she'll forget her.
