For the past three days Adela avoided me like the plague and damn she was good at that. I couldn't just stop thinking about what happened yesterday.

Adela walked into class as usual wearing those flowy skirts and loose sweater. Does she really not like her body ? I mean i can swear she wears her mom's clothes or something. luckily the only free seat was the one directly at my back. I decided that enough was enough today. I was going to speak to her and maybe stop this awkward tension. I just want to be friends with her. She fascinates me. I waited and waited until the Mathematics professor walked out of the class. Immediately I turned back to talk to adela when someone walked into the class.
Really!!! Mother nature was really playing a good one on me wasn't she . Angrily I turned back to listen to whatever was being announced. Listen up students!!
Mrs Humphrey the student body president practically yelled. Your English teacher asked me to tell you all that there would be a quiz that would earn you 5% of ur assessments. It's going to be on the book you are working on now and this going to be done in pairs. Listen to your names and find out who ur partner is and.... I zoned her until I heard my name. Alexander Morello and Adela Santiago. That definitely caught my attention. Huh? Guess mother nature does like me after all. What? that's not right... Mrs Humphrey said to herself.

What's not right? I thought. She looked at the paper again and repeated slowly more to herself than to the class. Adela Santiago with Alexander Morello.
Confused I stared at her. Was it wrong for Adela to be paired with someone? Or paired with me? Does she have a phobia for people or something? Did Adela report me for talking to her or something? Turning back I looked at Adela and she looked as confused as Miss Humphrey was. She looked like she was going to pass out any minute from now. Turning back to ask Mrs Humphrey what she meant,I found her leaving the class in a hurry calling the English professor on her phone. What hell is going on here?
