"Now let's get on with the first match!!" Present Mic said through the mic.

"There you two are, I thought you were going to miss it" Kaminari waved over to Dream and Sapnap who just arrived.

"We were comforting George, he got nervous, and we don't need him getting a panic attack right now" Sapnap said, taking a seat.

"What's with that face?! You did well up to now didn't you? Departments of Heroics, Midoriya Izuku!! Versus! Oh, what's with these two? They seem to be nervous! Don't worry, you've been doing well up to now as well, Department of Heroics, George!!" Present Mic said, catching the attention of the two

"Shit...why am I the one getting nervous?" Sapnap said, putting his elbows on his lap and his palm covering his mouth and nose.

"He's always been a bit like our little brother, what did you think?" Dream said, tensing up.

"The rules are simple! This is a battle won by either pushing your opponents out of the ring or completely defeating them, or getting them to say, "I give"!!" Present Mic continued, "Feel free to cause injuries!! We have Recovery Girl waiting for those injured in the wings!! I hope you have left your sense of moral and decency at the entrance!! Well, of course you are not allowed to endanger each other's life! That would be an instant out!"

"George, I swear, if you panic now, I won't forgive you" Z said, starring at George from high above as a bird nonchalantly pass through her as if she's air.

George took a deep breath and starred at Midoriya in the eye, trying to read him like he always does when he fights the two.

"Ready?!!! Staaaaaaaaaaaaaart!!" Present Mic yelled

Midoriya instantly went towards George, activating his quirk. Noticing this, George cleverly dodges the attack, knowing well he won't be able to block it. The attack missed and George got a square kick on Midoriya who was still stunt after George dodges.

"Aaand a solid hiiiit!! The match has only begun 7 seconds ago, this will be interesting to watch"

"I may have never exceled in physical abilities...but you can't easily get a good hit off me, Midoriya" George said as Midoriya moved backwards, knowing that close-range combat might not be a good choice.

The match went on for a while and soon enough, George was pushed off the ring by Midoriya, who was able to hit George off with his long-ranged attack.

"George is out! Midoriya! You advance to round two!!" Midnight announced.

"Yah-haaah!! An interesting first match of the tournament!! Clap your hands and give these two a round of applause!! You fought wee boys!!" Present Mic announced once the two got back to their position.

"You fought amazingly Midoriya!! I knew I wouldn't advance any further from here anyways." George said, giving out a hand to shake

Midoriya looked up and smiled, he then shook George's hand

"Y- You fought really well as well! I thought I would loose in the beginning" Midoriya said nervously

"Now let's take a trip to Recovery Girls' office, I can tell she would be pissed off" George laughed nervously as the crowd around them roared at their amazing display of being a good sport.

"He did his best" Sapnap said like a proud brother, clapping.

"Next up is Todoroki and Sero huh...then it's my turn" Dream sighed
