I never knew Hannah Baker. I wasn't around. I didn't know the story. But it seems to me like if anyone would have a reason to want Bryce Walker dead, it would be her mother. And you might have looked more closely at her if you hadn't had all your eyes on Clay Jensen.

The two Foley's and the younger Jensen stare at the picture on the computer screen, the police having released a picture and more information about Clay, who is now know as the primary suspect of Bryce Walker's homicide.

Clay scoffs, scrolling down to read everything that is written about him, particularly paying attention to his picture. ''Of course that's the picture they use."

''Yeah, dude, that is not your best look.'' Justin agrees.

''You should worry about the way you're looking right now. Did you sleep at all?'' Angie points out, Clay turning away from the computer to face the girl.

''Yeah.''

''The nightmares again?'' Justin clarifies, narrowing his eyes down as Clay takes a sip of his drink as if trying to avoid the question but Angie's burning stare break him.

''Not again, they never stopped.'' He confesses.

Justin frowns, sharing a worried look with his sister. ''Shouldn't you be talking to someone?''

''Shouldn't you?''

''You both should!'' Angie exclaims, patting her both of their shoulders with a raised eyebrows.

''Who do I talk to, Ang? What do I say? I didn't kill Bryce? I'm not crazy? I feel like that actually makes me sound like a crazy person who killed Bryce.'' Clay says and Angie furrows her eyebrows in confusion at his words.

''No, it doesn't. 'Cause it's the truth!'' Angie trails off, noticing the familiar name on his phone screen as it starts ringing, which makes her frown slightly since she didn't know they were in contact. ''Mrs. Baker?''

''Is she back in town?'' Justin asks as Clay grabs his phone from the table and places it on his back pocket.

''I don't know.''

''I miss her. I haven't spoke to her in a while... Last time we spoke she had come to visit Jess and I.'' Angie mutters, walking over to the fridge to grab herself a fresh bottle of water.

''Jess?'' Clay clarifies.

''Yeah. That's what came out of my mouth.'' She nods her head slowly, taking a sip of her drink as Clay looks off into the distance and Angie snorts. ''See! Now, that look is what makes you seem crazy.''

Unlike Angelina, Clay didn't tell Justin that it wasn't the first time he'd heard from Mrs. Baker. He knew exactly why she was in town. He just didn't know everything she'd done.

''Apparently, Mrs. Baker is back in town. She was texting Clay. You know what that means?'' Angie asks bluntly, both of them walking down the hallway to her locker since she want to leave some of her books there.

''I don't really know what it means, Angel of death.'' Tony replies with a small sigh, the two reaching her locker and she opens it to places her books inside.

''It means Clay will talk to her and possibly accuse her of killing Bryce. Then she will proceed to tell him the reason she was here...''

''And then he's going back to accusing me when he finds out I actually had a reason to want Bryce dead.'' Tony concludes and she nods her head, closing her locker to face him again.
