Fu Yanzhi felt a little helpless.

For the first time!

All because for the first time in forever, he encountered a girl like Ji Qingying!

It was not that he hadn't been chased after before.

Fu Yanzhi was aware that he was considered quite good looking and he had been confessed to so many times since his school days until he entered society.

But he would always refuse those confessions.

After he explicitly stated his rejection, there were still people who continued to march forward courageously, but within half a month of facing a continuous cold shoulder, most of them would disappear.

But Ji Qingying was an exception.

She had a beautiful appearance and a graceful figure. Her every frown and every smile looked like those of graceful beauties from the Republic of China Pictorial.

It was especially obvious when she wore a cheongsam, which made her look gentle and graceful.

Of course, her personality was also gentle and self cultivating, which Fu Yanzhi knew very well.

It was the same.

She was gentle, but the stubbornness and persistence in her gentleness were incomparable to others.

She persisted much longer than Fu Yanzhi expected.

But her persistence did not cause him any trouble.

There were certain rules and standards on how to advance and retreat. Those were mainly these three rules: one was to advance if you should advance, the second was to retreat when you should retreat and the third was to retreat in order to advance.

He had to find a way to deal with her soon. If not, besides feeling helpless, he wouldn't be able to do anything.

He felt choked again, opened and closed his mouth a few times, but still couldn't speak smoothly.

Ji Qingying was aware of his embarrassment, so she bit her lower lips in thought and said empathetically, "There is no other meaning Just casually talk about it."

"Tell me, why are you looking for me?"

Fu Yanzhi narrowed his eyes and stared at her before saying, "I may have to trouble you for a favor."

"Oh? Don't worry, just tell me."

Fu Yanzhi said "Okay" and added, "Help me in picking a gift."

Ji Qingying turned the lollipop in her hand and asked in a low voice, "For the kid who gave you the lollipop?"

"Yes."

Ji Qingying smiled and said readily, "Okay, call me when the time comes."

Fu Yanzhi nodded.

"Thank you so much."

The two didn't stay at the door for too long.

After achieving the goal she had in her mind, Ji Qingying returned to her house and disappeared out of sight.

As soon as she went inside, she stared at the thing in her hands for a long while before unwrapping and eating it.

The lollipop was much sweeter than she thought.

The sweetness made Ji Qingying forget about all her troubles and helped her have a good night's sleep.

At noon the next day.

Ji Qingying didn't go to the hospital as she had to hurry with a customer's order.

It wasn't until late afternoon, that she found some time to send a message to Fu Yanzhi.

Ji Qingying: [Doctor Fu, are you busy today?]

Ji Qingying: [Are you free to take me to eat some local food?]

Just after sending the message out, Ji Qingying's mobile phone vibrated. It was a message from Ye Zhenzhen.

Ye Zhenzhen: [Sister Ji! Are you at home?]

Even if it was just a text message sent on her phone, Ji Qingying could still feel the vitality of a college student, sitting all the way across a screen.

Ji Qingying: [Yes. What happened? You don't have any classes today?]

Ye Zhenzhen: [Yes, but there is a festival being held at our school today. I wanted to ask if you want to come and see it?]

This was an event that happened twice a year and was sort of a traditional practice done by the school from a long time ago.

The event was organized by several majors to encourage a friendly exchange between them.

There were music performances, other entertainment activities, and most importantly, there were fashion shows.

Not only the work but also the performances were done by the school students.

Relatively speaking, the event would be very lively.

When Ji Qingying looked at her information, she remembered that there seemed to be such an event.

Moreover, the activity time of each semester varied and it was possible to be hosted in April, May or June.

When she was still in school, she and Chen Xinyu also participated to join in the fun.

Ji Qingying had never visited her college after graduating.

It was not that she didn't want to go. There was simply nothing to do and she didn't want to wander around.
