It had been three months since you've been dating Kevin, but a misfortune happened: Kevin was moving back to America and he didn't want a long distance relationship.

You didn't care about having a long distant relationship, but he did. He was afraid you would cheat on him while he was gone, and you might not see him again. He just couldn't risk it, so the day before school ended, he broke up with you.

You were devastated and didn't want to talk to anyone, not even Kiseop.

It pained him more to see you like this. He wanted to see your smile, but nothing he did made you smile. He couldn't stand it but decided to leave you alone until you recovered.

It was the first week of summer and yet, you weren't feeling so well.

Kiseop couldn't stand this silence and decided to call you.

"Hello?" You answered, still lying on your bed.

"Hello! Are you busy tonight?" He still didn't take you out on that dinner because you told him you were busy hanging out with Kevin.

Kiseop lived in his own home alone, so he doesn't have a lot to do. It was very boring in his house unless he brings someone over. But lately, he wasn't interested in women.

"I'm not busy." You replied. You lived in a house, also alone. Since you no longer had a boyfriend, you were free almost every day.

"Great! I'll pick you up at seven!" Kiseop hung up and changed into his best clothes.

At seven, he dropped by your house. He got out of his car nervously and rung the doorbell. Kiseop took a deep breath and stood straight, ready for this night.

You opened the door, wearing a regular shirt and jeans. Upon seeing Kiseop dressed up, your eyes widened. "Oh! I didn't know we have to dress up. Let me change." You were about to go back inside your home until Kiseop grabbed your arm.

"It's okay." He pulled you into the car and drove off.

Kiseop had chosen the restaurant you wanted to go in for years. You just didn't have enough money to pay for the food.

"How could you afford this?" You asked looking around. There were wine glasses on your table and the napkins were folded into fans. The place was dimly lit with a tint of blue, and it was practically quiet except for the clanking of the plates and quiet conversations.

Kiseop grinned. "I saved up and my parents send me money once in a while."

"Wow. Amazing!" You were amazed at everything around you.

Kiseop couldn't help but laugh inside. You were like a child and that's what he loved about you. "What are you getting?" Kiseop asked, skimming the menu.

"Hm..." You bit your lip. "Maybe I'll get..."

During the whole dinner, you and Kiseop talked constantly. He was happy you were back to normal, so he didn't bring up anything about Kevin. What he did bring up were the memories you had when you were little.

You two laughed constantly and brought up new topics. It was like Kevin never existed.

After dinner, he took you home. As he was on the driveway, you offered him to come inside. At first, he refused until you convinced him because you had a surprise for him.

He entered your house, still remembering where everything is. He took a deep breath and smelled the scent of oranges. He smiled and sat on the couch.
