The next morning had came around. I got ready for school and so did Jaehyun. It didn't take us long to get out the door and get in the car to go pick up Taeyong.
Not going to lie, the car ride was very awkward and quiet. No one talked nor looked at each other, and it just felt weird. Not to mention uncomfortable.
As soon as Jaehyun parked his car in the parking lot. All three of us quickly got out, walking into the school trying to avoid each other. Going to our respective friend groups.
"Hey Lina.." I heard someone whisper to me as I get back to my locker. I look to see it was Taeyong with a worried expression.
"What's wrong Yong?" I asked, closing my locker.
"Can I hang out with you and your friends today? I feel like Jaehyun is mad at me." Taeyong sighs.
"Why would he be mad at you bubu? If anyone he's mad at, it's Sanghee."
"I don't know, I just feel like he is." He looks down at the floor.
"I promise you, he's not. But if it really does make you feel better, we can go hang out with my friends alright?"
"Thank you, that would really make me feel better. Thanks Lina."
"Of course, now let's go!" I smile, grabbing Taeyong's arm and running with him over to Mark and Jisoo.
"Hey Lina and.. Taeyong?" Jisoo says.
"Hi.." Taeyong says quietly.
"Yong's gonna hang out with us today. Is that okay?" I ask.
"Of course it's okay. But let's get to class alright?" Jisoo smiles.
We all nod in agreement walking to our individual classes for the morning. At least that was until Ticha ran up to us.
"Taeyong! Jaehyun's looking for you!"
"Wait, why?" Taeyong asks.
"Why would I know? Now come on! He needs to talk to you!" Ticha says, dragging Taeyong away from Mark, Jisoo and I.
We all shrug at each other, heading to class.
Taeyong's P.O.V
My heart started racing the minute as Ticha started dragging me towards where ever Jaehyun was at.
Yes, Lina's words did calm me down,
But what if Jaehyun is really mad at me?
What if he just wants to end our friendship because of the constant fights between him and Sanghee?
I feel sick, I really do not want to do this.
"Jaehyun!" Ticha suddenly says.
I glance up to see Jaehyun, then looking back down at the dirty school floors.
I seriously do not want to do this.
"Thanks Ticha." Jaehyun says as Ticha lets go of my hand.
"Of course, now you two have fun talking. Bye!"
As soon as Ticha runs off, I felt Jaehyun looking at me. But I just kept my eyes on our shoes.
"Yong."
"Hm?"
"Look up at me."
I sigh silently, anxiously looking up at the taller male.
"You know I'm not mad at you right?" Jaehyun speaks.
"Your not?"
"No, I'm not. I'm mad at Sanghee." He sighs, leaning against the wall that was behind us.
"Oh." I mumble.
"Did you think I was mad at you?"
"Yeah.. I thought maybe you were just really tired of all the fights you and Sanghee have about me. And that you didn't want to talk to me anymore so it stops." I sigh.
"Yong, you get like this every time when Sanghee and I have a fight. Please just know none of this is your fault. I've told many times to stop doing that because it worries you. She just doesn't listen."
I stand there, not really knowing what to say to him about what's happened.
We take a few moments, just letting the silence speak. Until I spoke up again.
"So.. What're you gonna do now about her." I mumble.
"I think it's time I break up with her."
Lina's P.O.V
Jisoo, Mark and I go to our separate homerooms. Waiting for the whole school day to start.
As everyone was going to homeroom, I grab my phone and open it. Making sure Taeyong was okay.
Me: You okay?
Yong: Yeah, I'm fine. He isn't mad.
Me: See! Told you he's not mad!
Yong: Yeah yeah. But he did tell me something.
Me: Oh? What is it?
Yong: I think he should tell you himself, I don't think it's really my place to say what.
Me: Oh, does it have something to do with Sanghee?
Yong: ... Yeah
Me: Okay, thanks for telling me
Yong: Of course, I have to go though. Class is starting.
Me: Same here, see you later Yong
I put down my phone, turning it off to see Chenle sitting down next to me.
"Hey Le!"
"Hey! Did everything work out okay yesterday?"
"I'm not sure yet, we'll have to wait and see." I sigh, looking at the desk.
"Please, this has always happened between them." Chenle scoffs.
"I just feel extremely bad for Taeyong. He always looks so upset when he's around the couple. He even wanted to hang out with us today because of Sanghee."
"Yeah, whenever they get in arguments about Taeyong. He's usually alone and never talks to anyone the next day." Chenle sighs.
"I don't get why she does this." I roll my eyes.
"She's just never liked Taeyong I guess."
