The Enchantress's Dreamweaver

Introduction

WARNING: These are all ORIGINAL CHARACTERS! I CLAIM THEM ALL BUT I APOLOGISE IF THE NAMES ARE THE SAME, THEY ARE NOT!!!

The Immortals have been called to investigate a mysterious energy signature coming from the basement in an abandoned house across town.

"You might want to get there soon, the energy readings match those of the Enchantress from Inclease. I'll let Silverwolf explain about her on the way." Clearance had said. They jumped on the plane in a few seconds at the mention of the Enchantress.

Now they were flying above the house, looking for a place to land.

"There, we can land in that patch of land." Irina (A.K.A Nightleaf) says.

"Alright, Silverwolf, what should we expect?" Quinn (A.K.A Hopewing) asks the god. Silverwolf (A.K.A Hlyne)  pauses for a moment before dishing out everything he knows.

"The Enchantress is a formidable being. She has been educated in the strongest of dark magic, the frost giants flame. If struck, you will be haunted by those you have killed." The team digest this before Adrian (A.K.A Saber) speaks up.

"Ok, main point here, don't get hit, or you're gonna have a hell of a lot of people chasing you for the rest of your life." His attempts at humor are quite feeble but the heroes appreciate it nonetheless. They had lots of enemies, and lots of deaths, that haunt them already. What would it be like if the people were cursed to haunt them?

"Does she have any weaknesses? Any places we should target?" Chris (A.K.A Shadow) asks. Hlyne sighs.

"There is one way I can think of, but it is cruel. She lost her parents when she was four." He trails off, not wanting to continue.

"You're saying we can exploit that. You want us to remind her of it." Willow (A.K.A Firebird) offers, sadly.

Hlyne nods feebly. He was ashamed of his idea, but it was the only one he could think of.

"Well, I'd personally like to steer clear of the idea, but if things don't go as planned, I suppose we'll have to bring out the big guns." Quinn finishes. The team nod their assent.

"For now, Chris, Irina, Willow, you have perimeter. Keep this 'force' from leaving the area. Hlyne, you and I are going in. Adrian, use your X-rays to check for life signs. Hadwin (A.K.A Osa), stay on alert for a code green. If we don't need one, keep your medical supplies ready." Quinn looks at the team affectionately as Chris lands the Quinjet.

"Immortals, GO!" He commands.

With that, the team disappear into the house...
