── C O N F E S S I O N ≡ ⌕ ❛ FLOWER SHOWER " this isn't as much of a confession and more of a short story, but before, i used to attend a co-ed school (i'm in a all girls' school now). i'm pretty open about liking k-pop, so once i was talking in chinese (my native) on vacation to my grandma on the phone, when someone around 18, 19 turned around and very obviously said "she's korean?! she looks normal though." it was downright rude. you can't just assume everyone that's asian is korean. it's not like i'd point at an english person and say "american?!" just because i'm a fan of say, taylor swift. i was just so pissed off, despite me liking kpop too. secondly, not all asians look like irene or tzuyu, ok? we're just normal people living normal lives. in short, maybe my "confession" is that kpop has had some...side effects. apparently now we're all talented, pretty people. i'm sure you guys are lovely, but please don't assume." - anon
