It was about 2am by now I woke up to some noise in the kitchenette, wait who the fuck is here

Elle: hello?? I said unsure
??;do you really think someone breaking in is gonna reply to that, I heard the familiar voice coming from the distance
??: or are you those white people in horror movies
Elle: Mattia, why are you here, what is the time? I said while yawning
Mattia: it's about 2:30 or so, and we fell asleep and I woke up to get water, I'm sorry for waking you up, he said while getting under the covers
Elle: it's ok, wait 2am!!! I was supposed to meet with kahlil Oh my word no no no no
Mattia: just tell him to meet you later today like after lunch or something
Elle: he's gonna be pissed

Mattia: now shhhhh, stop being loud and let's go back to sleep
Elle: I'm not tired anymore
Mattia: shhhhh, Mattia said while tugging some blanket and putting it over me

Mattia: your place is so cold
Elle: i know I'm thinking about getting an apartment sophomore  year
Mattia: I was thinking the same thing, it's so loud over here
Mattia: and what fucken money are you gonna buy an apartment with
Elle: I was gonna rent, it's cheaper and it's not like we live in New York where rent is the price of a house
Mattia: true
Elle: and plus my dad was probably gonna pay and I still have sone inheritance money that I could use

I flipped over so I could see Mattia, his eyes shining brightly in the dark dorm
Mattia: you so beautiful you know that, Mattia said in a trans like state, he moved his hand to caress my cheek and moved my hair that came undone from my ponytail
Mattia: I missed this so much
Elle: I don't want to give you the wrong idea but I'm still with kahlil
Mattia: it doesn't matter you're gonna break up with him
Elle: and you think I'm just gonna magically get with you with not thinking
Mattia: well of course not but I'm just telling you I missed you, I missed us and I screwed it up as always
Elle: shhh don't talk about that, I told you I forgive you and I'm not gonna hold it against you
Mattia closed his eyes and let out a long sigh before laying onto his back and looking at me once again
Elle: stop looking at me you making me nervous, I said  while moving over closer to him and placing my head over his chest and shoulder
Mattia: I make you nervous? Mattia whispered into my ear
Elle: this is why I don't tell you anything I said trying to fake being annoyed
Elle: I'm not going to class today either i don't care
Mattia: ughhh don't leave me with that professor
Elle: then stay here with me then
Elle: i don't know if you want to tho, up to you
Mattia: yea I was always gonna stay I just wanted you to offer, Mattia said while kissing my head and trying to go to sleep again

Mattia: Elle wake up, Mattia said while whispering
Elle: why are you whispering? I said while yawning
Mattia: someone is at the door
Elle: ok....
Mattia: it's been like 10 min they not leaving
Elle: ugh ok
Elle:pass me that sweater on the floor
Mattia threw me the sweater as I put it on I looked through the peep hole and saw kahlil with a bouquet of roses
Elle: Mattia i know this is gonna sound bad, but go into my  closet and stay there until I tell you to come out, ok
Mattia: who's here
Elle: kahlil, now go, I said while shooing him away

I opened the door with no facial expression at all and saw kahlil switch off his phone and face me
Kahlil: heyyy baby, he said while leaning in to kiss my forehead as he usually does but this time I backed away, I immediately saw his eyebrows rise
Elle; what do you need and why are there flowers
Kahlil: who was here, I thought i heard voices
Elle: no one is here you probably hearing things
Kahlil: well aren't you gonna invite me in
Elle: yea, umm sorry I just woke up I'm not really concentrating

Kahlil: I'm sorry I lashed out at you yesterday
Elle: I think we should break up
Kahlil : you really gonna do this cause of what I said yesterday
Elle: no it's cause of everything, I'm just not happy with us and you not good for me
Kahlil: you not thinking straight, I'm the only one for you sweetheart, kahlil said while picking up my chin to look at him
Elle: you can't tell me when I'm not thinking straight, you control everything and I'm sick of it
Elle: this is necessary and this whole relationship was a mistake I said while pushing his hand away from my chin

Kahlil: who the fuck do you think you are talking to! Kahlil said practically screaming
Kahlil: is your little bitch Mattia telling you to say qqthis
Elle: leave, I said calmly trying to make it look like I wasn't scared but I was ready to fall apart by now, I wanted to just crawl into bed and cry over and over again not because I was heart broken but because of how I allowed him to treat me like this
Elle: this is why I'm breaking up with you cause you are fucken toxic.

I look down onto the floor trying to not make it look like I was hurt but he already knew he fucked with my feelings
Kahlil: and look at me when I fucken talk to you!! He said even more pissed his loud voice filled the room
I backed away from him scared of his next actions.
Kahlil: I'm sorry I shouldn't of scre-
I stood there not knowing what todo I was horrified, I looked back into his eyes and I was petrified
Elle: kahlil this isn't the boy at the party where we met, this isn't the sweet boy that would send me flowers every day and this isn't the boy that cared about me
Kahlil: baby, he said while moving closer to me in his soft voice
Elle: no let me finish
Elle: I'm scared to be around you, I'm scared of you and i know you love to see me scared but I don't want this, you hurt me emotionally and the other day almost physically, this isn't healthy, just please leave, I said almost begging
Kahlil: you think you so precious huh? You think I actually loved you, you're so fucken dumb. You were just an easy freshman that would open up her legs for me. Mattia cheating on you was just the cherry on the cake all you needed was some affection and then you would be mine. Stop thinking you are so precious and innocent cause all you are is just a little slut, kahlil dropped the flowers onto the floor
He opened the door and left me there with the loud bang of the door, he left me there practically shaking

I heard the closet door slam shut, remembering that Mattia was in there. I didn't want him to see me like this, weak. He ran over to me and hugged me tighter than anybody has he wrapped his big arms around me and I practically melted into his arms. I just stood there not processing anything

Mattia: don't listen to him ok, you're not a slut, you're fucken perfect
Finally after my mind processed everything tears started streaming down my face and all I could hear was Mattias heart beat as my head rested onto  his chest
