Not your ordinary fairytale

Chapter One: The Quest

"Omar you douche! Give me back my bow!!!" Screamed Aaron as Omar held his arms up innocently confused.

Lara sat atop a tree branch snickering at the two trainees now arguing. She held an medium sized bow in her hands strengthening the string a bit and dabbing sap in cracks of the wood.

Her legs dangle a bit from the large branch she's sitting on as she leans her head back on the trunk of the tree. The clouds drift across the dreamy blue sky as her dark chocolate brown locks slip into her eyes.

The breeze is quite nice, peaceful really. The branches sway slightly and the leaves on the ground dance around together to the music of the forest. Lara is hypnotized by the beauty of it all. She places her hands behind her head preparing to doze off, soothed by the atmosphere at the moment.

Just as she was about to doze off a pair of feet crunching in the leaves pulls her out of the trance.

"aye Birdy, the boss told me to come get you." says the rough voice of Rukan which pulls Lara further from her trance as she groans and looks down from her branch.

"If it's about last missions witness don't worry I took care of it." Lara says not wanting to get out of her comfortable spot.

"Well yes that was one and thank you but not exactly, he told me a new mission came from general." explains Rukan.

Lara looks down at him intently a little confused; "The General?? He asked for me?? Did I do something wrong?"

He shrugs his shoulders a little not exactly knowing either; "I don't know, he just told me to come and get you"

Lara groans a little sliding off her branch and climbing down the tall tree. "Well if I'm being executed I'm blaming you" she jokes patting him on the chest as she walks by.
