" HEY! Watch out ! " I heard someone yell

Too late. A beach ball landed exactly on my head

" Ow ! "

" Shit ! I'm really sorry "

" that's alright " I said as I got on my feet again rubbing my head, that hurt.

" I'm Harry by the way, saw you at the airport " he said with that same wide smile as he picked up the ball.

" I see, well It's nic... " but before I could finish he'd already gone back to join his friends who were waiting for him. Niall was there too.

Call me a stalker, but I swear I've seen all of them before.
I just couldn't figure out where. I tried finding niall on Instagram, but either he has a different username or he doesn't have an account because I couldn't find him.

" Well looks like I'm not the only one who's embarrassing myself " added Bella as she walked towards me holding what looked like a coconut shell. She wore a light blue two piece swimsuit it looked delicate and Lacy with little floral shapes on some parts, clearly she wanted to look a little eye catching.

Me on the other hand, let's just say I came to do some investigating and didn't really put that much effort into what I was wearing. Just a yellow T and denim shorts to go with it, I wasn't really planning on hitting the waves, or... getting hit on the head by a beach ball for that matter.

We'd decided to come down to the beach, mom stayed back saying she needed to unpack.

" Hey Bella, have you seen those guys before ? " I said as I pointed at Nail and Harry

" No, I don't think so, but they do look kinda familiar, Donno though. there're cute, what's that guys name " She asked pointing at Harry

" That's Harry " I answered

" Harry what ? What's his second name ? "
" why so curious? I'm not sure he didn't tell me "

" I'm gonna go talk to him " she said all casually

Oh okay. Wait what ! No no no
But before I could pull her back she was already walking towards them.

I went a little closer so I could hear what they were talking about

-hey, can I talk to you for a minute
~ sure, what's up
-I'm Gigi's sister by the way

I heard her say that and the next thing I knew, they were waving at me. This made me stumble out of my hiding place. Dang !

But how did he know me. I couldn't hear what they were saying after that.
So I decided to go get a smoothie instead.

I trailed across the beach and entered a little hut like shop that looked like a cafe.
The line was so long. While I waited I noticed a poster that was hung up on the wall.

" hōʻike hōʻano kahakai - beach side fashion show " it was in a few weeks.
There was a board next to it where people could sign up, when I took a closer look I saw the Bella had already signed up. Who would've thought

Maybe this was my chance.
" Are you going to sign up? " I heard someone ask from behind me. " surely you look the part "

I turned to find a guy standing behind me. He was tall and slim, his skin a russet, reddish-brown. "Friends call me Lono" he added as he took a bite of the stake he was eating.

Well I'm not your friend lono

" Gigi ! " I heard Bella exclaim and looked around for her
" I knew it! Well I didn't but...but I thought! Since you know...they looked so familiar and that Harry guy! I swear I've seen him but I didn't think I was right! " and she wasn't done " oh And Harry already has a girlfriend, I was a little disappointed to be honest but that's not the important part ! "

" what on earth are you talking about "
Lono looked at her like she was crazy then back at me, he gave me the -you-people-are-weird look and walked away. Well okay Lono.

" Them! Do you know who they are ? "
"No, that's why I asked you"
" I think they might've known Zayn, because I feel like I've seen them with him before "

That can't be possible, I knew all his friends
" but I don't know them,
I'm pretty sure Zayn would've mentioned them at least once "I mean, we were together for three years " why don't I remember them? "

" that's exactly what I'm thinking about, they seem to know us and you kinda said they all looked familiar too. " she looked like a detective trying to put pieces of a really hard case together " if we all knew each other why don't they find it weird that we don't know them "

" because Bella, we all don't know each other, did he tell you he was a friend of Zayn's ? Harry I mean "

And this is when I released this was the longest conversation about Zayn I've had in a while where I didn't tear up. Yet.

" Yes!"

" that's definitely a no "

The line had moved and it was my turn.
When we were out of the shop Bella still didn't let it go. Stepping out of there silently, I hoped she'd stop.

" something's going on G we need to figu... wait a minute! You signed up? " she asked in a shocking voice and pointed at the poster.

Thankful that she had finally stopped talking about Zayn I replied
" yeah " geez was it that hard to believe I would. " I did "

" Oh " Bella smiled, it looked kind of forced. " that's nice. I'm gonna go look for a surf board " and with that she was gone. What was that all about?

" maybe she's just jealous that she doesn't look as hot as you do " added Lono in a dull and bored voice , leaning on the bars. Was he listening to our conversation. *sign*
And that would never be the reason.

The sun was going down, and I decided it was time to head back.
What on earth was Bella talking about.

Could Bella really be jealous?
Why doesn't Gigi remember them ?
