cheryls mom is supportive ✋
cheryl had been laying in her bed, her right airpod in playing her favourite song. well, tonis favourite song. anything toni favourited cheryl did too. toni is cheryl's favourite person. she had been drawing for the past hour or 2, waiting for a call or text from toni. what she didn't expect was toni to be standing at her door watching her draw and be having hella heart eyes towards cheryls adorable concentration face.
"oh toni, hey. how'd you get in" she says setting down her art book and taking out her airpod to give her girlfriend her undivided attention
"your mom let me in" toni says as she sets her school bag down beside her
toni looked up again and cheryl saw the visible tears in her eyes. cheryl quickly stood up and walked over to her girlfriend embracing her in a tight yet loving hug.
"toni baby, what's wrong"
that's when tonis cries start to become louder and she literally fell into cheryls arms. after a few minute of small affirmations from cheryl the endgame couple decided to lie down on the bed. cheryl had laid down first and watched as toni laid on top of her, tucking her head into cheryls neck.
"do you wanna talk about it" cheryl whispers, brushing tonis hair off of her temple before leaving light kisses. toni shakes her head slightly signalling a 'no'
"okay, promise me once you're ready you'll tell me ?" she whispers again, repeating her same previous actions.
toni nods before cuddling impossibly closer to her girlfriend. after laying there for a few minutes just enjoying each other's company, in comfortable silence, soon enough toni speaks up.
"can you tell me about your day please" she said in a small voice.
cheryl happily obliged.
"well..."
the afternoon was quiet. cheryl talking, toni just listening and occasionally chiming in with a little comment or laugh.
toni still had a lot on her mind but being there with her girlfriend, between her tight grip made any and all sadness melt away as the love rushed in and took its place. soon enough they fell asleep in each other's arms.
they were so in love.
