Solace Bonnard

Imagine a world where all is accepted, every kind of love and every kind of passion a creature might contain. A land with no judging system, no rules. Merely three rulers of three kingdoms, each their own way of acting and leading.

A fantasy.

Imagine a kingdom full of elves, some of them blessed or cursed by a power. This power is passed down through generations and manifests differently when mixed with another bloodline. The ones that don't contain such power, are as equal in their rights as the gifted ones. A king and queen with two twins, a loved and loving family ruling their lands.

The second kingdom is full of humans, no powers, no nothing. Living in peace with each other, pure harmony. A widowed queen ruling the kingdom, waiting for her first child to be born as she lives among her people in peace.

And the last one, a mixture of both. A kingdom where the king is kind and generous. A true king that does not care about himself or his own comfort, a man always takes care of his people and family. A man who always puts his own needs last. A perfect king.

It was in that last kingdom, Lastar, that all that vanished into the depts of a dark pit about 5 years ago. The second their beloved king died, his daughter, an halfbreed-girl without a gift was expected to take her seat on the throne. Her father did have power, the power of healing wounds and small diseases. Lastar got blessed by a daughter that carried jealousy and fear in her soul, resulting in madness the world is experiencing at this very moment.

As she was the one who had started it all.

You might wonder why I, Solace Bonnard, get to start this story. Since I am not a so-called 'chosen one'. No, I'd rather burn the world to the ground to be the only person left who can relish in the remaining ashes before taking my last breath as well.

Why? May you ask, well a certain stuck-up queen of Lastar decided that gifted elves are a treat for every living and breathing creature walking around on this earth. As soon as her father died, she took the throne and pushed her mother away. For all I know the queen could be dead and buried by now.

The black queen managed to murder the queen of Illion, she and her soon-to-be-born child were captured and killed in a matter of seconds by her vicious spies. Rumors go that she also assassinated the king and queen of Tallis, as now their son is ruling. The man has succeeded to push the black queen back into her throne back in Lastar for now.

I find myself to be in locked in a black prison, iron bars all around me. Hands tied up in the air and feet shackled to the floor. He knows that I am not a girl that's easily handled. I turn to my left side, eyes having a hard time making something of the dark persona in the neighboring cage. The only light in space being the torch next to the soldier at the door. "Stop staring at me." A man says, I still cannot make any sense of the shapes I'm seeing. "I'm not, I can't see shit." A chuckle.

"Shut it, both of you."

Gazing at the guard now, I tilt my head and smile at the man. "You know-" I began, though words were halted by the soldier's lower voice. "You're like a Siren. Such beauty and allure, luring men close to you and then butchering them." An honest smile manifested on my porcelain face. I love it when men appreciate my every talent. It's a shame that I'm having to stay tied for my plan to accomplish, otherwise, I would've shown him my work of perfection.

It had been several hours since my capturing. I can't decide whether he hasn't heard the news or if he just does not care about me anymore. He has to hurry up though, I'm getting impatient.

"Titan, just let me go. I am not a traitor." My fellow prisoner speaks once again. His voice has some kind of magical ethereality that I am not known with. The guard scoffs at Mister Ethereal. "You snitched to the black queen." The soldier's words were cold and harsh, his face not even portraying an emotion. "I know you, you know me. Talk some sense into Rei. He knows I'm not it."

"Rei knows what?" The door leading towards the ground floor, out of the cellar opens and a man all dressed in silver struts down the stairs. Of course, his majesty's colors. "That I am not the traitor you're looking for." The silver man proceeds to make his way to the prisoner's cell, watching him from his place of standing. "I'd wish I had added 'honesty' to our contract, then I'd have no doubt about your words." He smiles, averting his eyes to my cell now. "I finally have you in my grasp." Even though the light is lacking, I can see his smitten eyes watching me. The king of Tallis is still mad for the girl I once was and never will be again.

"After all those years, we meet once again." I lower my head, letting my eyes watch him through my lashes. He smiles as he lowers his gaze. "Open the door." The king orders his soldier, a shorthand movement and Titan begins to shuffle through his many keys. Once the king was able to enter the cage, he walked up to me and I notice that his eyes did not care to look elsewhere. "I have a deal for you, killer." I rase a brow at his name for me. "You sign, you live."
