06 | reality show

I wondered what was the hassle that my mentor had to call me to the meeting room immediately. I rushed to the meeting room and everyone was there, the LED screen was once again shown. I looked at it and I realised it was a picture of TXT. 

"Seulbi, you're here. Please take a seat." Moonbyul pointed to the seat at the front. 

"Apparently, Bighit labels is going to cancel TXT's appearance on our reality show in May." Moonbyul said as she pointed to the picture on the LED screen. 

TXT was a going to be a guest on our show? I thought in my mind, oh wait I really didn't read that list properly. My one and only chance to see TXT's true colours and to see them for free but it's all wasted now. 

"Why, did Bighit labels cancel the appearance?" Hoseok raised his hand. 

"Apparently, Bighit said that TXT has a packed schedule in May and they can't spare a day for our reality show." Moonbyu answered. 

"I'll reschedule them to the end of the year instead." Seokjin said as he jotted down some notes. 

"Yes Seokjin, now you have extra work, we need to invite a new guest for that specific episode." Moonbyul said as she typed some things onto her laptop. 

"Seulbi, you're okay right?" Jungkook nudged my shoulder as I was starring in disbelief. 

I got back to my senses and answered him with a smile. I guess I have to fight for the fansign slot instead, do I even have time for that? Hopefully their comeback is going to be sometime when I'm not really busy anymore. But why would they appear in May? Does that mean they have a comeback in that month. I mean idols usually appear on reality shows when they have a comeback. 

The sudden meeting ended and we headed back to our office. I had my head down and sat in my seat. I opened my laptop and continued to write the scripts for the upcoming episodes. The next recording for the next episode was in a few days and thankfully I've already done that script.

I commented under Chobin's tweet and I guess he's having a bad day like me too. I sighed and scrolled through twitter for some tea but there was nothing interesting. By the way I've been chatting with Chobin a lot and he seems like a nice guy. I really want to meet him but he keeps saying he's busy, maybe he's shy to meet or he doesn't want to meet. 

SOOBIN'S POV

A few days ago, 

I rushed into the dorm to find one of our members and I saw Yeonjun lying down on his bed. 

"Hyung, help me." I shook him up. 

"what?" Yeonjun rubbed his eyes and stood up. 

"She just asked if we could meet." I said and Yeonjun grabbed my phone and sent a message. 

"Just tell her you can't, say you're busy or you're shy. Make an excuse." Yeonjun sighed and fell back into a deep sleep. 

Today

Bang PD said he wanted to meet us today at the lounge because he wanted to discuss something. 

"Soobin, come here and take a seat." Bang PD pointed at the chair beside him. 

"I have some matters to discuss with. Apparently since your comeback is in May and I checked your schedule again and it seems we have 2 things clashing on the same day." 

"which is?" I asked and Bang PD took out a piece of paper. 

"you have a music festival on the same day as the recording for the reality show." Bang PD underlined. 

I sighed and closed my eyes, but the reality show is what the members were excited for but I can't make MOA disappointed and cancel our music festival appearance. 

"so we only have once choice which is to cancel one of it." 

"I don't want to disappoint MOA, I'll cancel the reality show." I sighed and gave an answer. 

"I know you're anticipating for the reality show but sadly we can't let you guys attend. We'll try to get you on the show no matter what." Bang PD tapped my shoulder as he left the lounge. 

I made my way to the practice room and the members were waiting for me. 

"What did you guys talk about?" Hyuka and Yeonjun asked as they stood in front of the door. 

I sighed and sat on the floor, I grabbed a bottle of water and chugged it down. 

"Guys, the reality show is cancelled." I said and they were in shock.

"Why?" Taehyun said as he inched closer to me. 

"We have another schedule." I said.

"I was anticipating for that." Beomgyu said as he went on weverse to share his sadness. 

"Cheer up, we still have hope, Bang PD said he will try to get us on the show no matter what." I smiled and hugged the members who were looking sad.

SEULBI'S POV 

I bet the TXT members are sad too, I mean our reality show is the most anticipated show in the country. That's why it's also hard work if someone cancels their appearance on our show. My pile of papers became two times the size and I think I could sink in it if I didn't get my work done.

soobinsdimples : you're sad too today? Can I ask why? 

soobinbbang : It's because someone I wanted to meet suddenly didn't want to come, how bout you?

soobinsdimples : I was anticipating for something but it got cancelled. 

soobinbbang : ah that sounds sad

soobinsdimples : btw what are you working for? I saw your feed and it looks like you're married to your job haha 

soobinbbang : lmao but actually I'm more of friends with my job, I sometimes like it and sometimes not really. I'm a scriptwriter at a reality show. 

soobinsdimples : that sounds fun, what reality show?

soobinbbang : I'd rather not tell. 

soobinsdimples : that's fine hehe, bye I have something to do. Talk to you soon. 

soobinbbang : bye 

At least I have someone to talk to when I'm feeling down. I just smiled through the pain.
