Venti was going to be the distraction, while I was going to stay behind the rock and make sure nothing backfires.

The bard stood up and walked towards the treasure hoarders.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Hello there~ I'm Venti, the best bard of Mondstadt, and I shall now play something for you with my lyre, enjoy!"

But before the silly bard could even start playing, an arrow flies towards Venti, he dodges it while smiling.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Quite the tough crowd huh?" 

He grins.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞:"Then we'll just have to do it the hard way.."

The breeze started getting colder, I was starting to shiver a bit.
The treasure hoarders backed away, they knew something wasn't right.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "And with hard way I mean, I run away and you catch me! Yahoo~!"

Venti started running, the treasure hoarders chased him.

I tried my best not to burst out laughing, and Aether who was next to me was trying his best not to burst out laughing either."

We expected something bigger.

I wiped tears from my eyes.

𝙔/𝙉: "Aether, now is your chance to grab the book!"

And so Aether hurried over, the book was laying right on the ground, I thought it was going to be way harder to get it but ah well.

I stood up and jumped ontop of the rock, waving at Venti, which was a sign meaning that we have the book and we can leave.

Venti turned around and was running backwards, which was a very bad idea..

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "It was fun playing with you boys! Cya aroun- Ah-"

Venti trips and falls.

I ran towards him and helped him up.

𝙔/𝙉: Hurry! Let's go!"

I grabbed his wrist, and pulled him with me.

We finally reached Mondstadt, me and Aether were laughing the whole time while we were running.

𝙔/𝙉 : "Wow Venti! good job distracting them."

I snorted, Venti was confused why I was laughing. 
The bard pouted.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "What about it?"

𝙔/𝙉 : "Nothing don't worry about it!"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞:"Hmph!"

Venti turned away his head, his arms were crossed.

𝙔/𝙉: "Okay, if I buy you some wine will you forgive me?"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "What an interesting deal, I'll gladly accept!"

I grinned at Venti, before noticing horror on Aether and Paimon's face.

𝙔/𝙉: "You two, is there something wrong?"

𝘼𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧: "The insides.. they've been ripped out.."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Not our problem, have a nice day!"

Venti grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from Aether and the flying pixie.

Venti just shrugged.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞:"Now buy me that wine!"

𝙔/𝙉: "Fine, let's go, come on tone-deaf-bard."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞:"Don't start calling me that too!"

I turned around and sticked out my tongue while winking, which was a thing Venti would usually do.

Venti rolled his eyes.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Alright can we go now?"

I nodded.

It has only been 5 minutes..
and this small little creature has already drank 9 bottles of wine..

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Another glass for the bard pleaaaaseeee~"

𝙔/𝙉: "Venti, I'm not the one that's going to carry you after this I'll literally leave you here."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Y/N don't be so cold~! Don't you have a heart?"

I just sighed, and ordered another drink.

5 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓

𝙔/𝙉: "Venti how do you drink so much.."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "𝗵𝗶𝗰 Hehe.. my 𝗵𝗶𝗰 secret!  "

𝗗𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗰: "How are you going to pay this anyway Venti?"

The red head behind the counter asked as he was cleaning the wine glasses.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "I'm not the one paying.."

I sighed and Diluc understood that I was the one paying.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Can I have one more glass?"

𝙔/𝙉: "No."

I was busy pulling Venti to my apartment, once again I refused to leave him outside alone.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Hey Y/N.."

𝙔/𝙉: "Yes tone deaf bard?"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Stop calling me that.." 𝙝𝙞𝙘

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "You're really pretty 𝙝𝙞𝙘"

𝙔/𝙉: "What?"

I blushed, don't think too much about it Y/N.. he's drunk, he doesn't know what hes saying.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Like.. really pretty.."

I start getting nervous.

𝙔/𝙉: "Geez.."

I sighed.

It was morning again, and this time Venti didn't watch me sleep.

I got changed and walked into the living room, where Venti was playing a song on his lyre.
I smiled while watching him play.

once he finished I started clapping for him.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Oh, your awake! didn't notice."

𝙔/𝙉: "So about yesterday.. did you mean what you said?"

I took a seat next to him.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞:"What do you mean?"

He doesn't remember? then it really just was drunk talk huh?

𝙔/𝙉: "Nevermind."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "So what're we going to do today?"

𝙔/𝙉: "Not sure."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "I have an idea! Let's go out and-"

Before Venti could finish his sentence there was a knock on the door.

I opened it to see Aether and Paimon standing behind it.

𝘼𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧: "Ahh.. we might need some help.. again.."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Nope, not getting involved again-"

𝙔/𝙉:"Sure!"

𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣: What's tone deaf bard doing here?"

𝙔/𝙉: "We were just hanging out that's all."

𝘼𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 & 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣 : "Hanging out, huh?"

I raised a brow, not really understanding what they were hinting at, while Venti on the other hand was starting to turn red.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "What a dirty mind you two have!" 

He bonked Aether and Paimons head.

𝙔/𝙉: "ʷʰᵃᵗ"

I whispered to myself, I was very confused.

𝘼𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧: "Anyway, Lisa asked us to bring back the missing pages and we can just hope that the treasure hoarders didn't burn them or anything hehe.."

I sighed and looked at Venti

𝙔/𝙉: "Ready for another adventure?"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "..I guess.."

Venti crossed his arms, his gaze was locked onto Aether.
He looked angry.

𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣 : "Look! Theres their camp!"

𝙔/𝙉: "So what's your plan this time?"

𝘼𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 : "Distract them, and me and paimon find the missing pages!"

I nodded, Venti was about to leave our hiding spot the be the distraction, but this time I wanted to do it.

𝙔/𝙉: "Nothing against you Venti, but last time you fell and almost got surrounded by the treasure hoarders."

Venti pouted at me, so I just smiled and walked towards the hoarders as Paimon and Aether were getting ready to search the papers.

The treasure hoarders camp was ontop of a very huge cliff, so my objective was not to fall off.
But oh no! guess what happened? they started hoarding me towards the edge of the cliff, I didn't have a wind glider with me at the time, just as I was considering to fight them a treasure hoarder ran towards me which caused me to step back, and fall.

Darn reflexes..

I could feel the breeze getting colder and colder, was this the end?

I felt someone holding me, I looked up to see who my hero was, and of course it was the one and only Venti.

𝙔/𝙉: "You know I was hoping a charming prince would catch me instea- OW"

Venti dropped me and crossed his arms.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Geez, can't you be more thankful."

𝙔/𝙉: "Venti I was kidding.."

The bard walks off, I could tell he was hurt.

𝙔/𝙉:"Venti, hey-"

I got up and followed him.

𝙔/𝙉: "Look at me."

He ignored me.

𝙔/𝙉:" Venti, look at me."

He turned around I could see he was clearly upset.

I cupped his face.

𝙔/𝙉: "I'm sorry Venti, I was kidding, you know I love you right? you are my
𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙 after all."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "𝙄𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪?"
