Estarossas pov

I woke up to someone playing with my hair, for a moment I'd forgotten that i fell asleep in (Y/n)'s lap and almost attacked her.

But as I shot up she just smiled.

"Awake are we sleeping beauty?"

I chuckled staring into the females (e/c) orbs. Nothing needed to be said, it was peaceful. But something was off.

Her (e/c) irises didnt shine the way they used to and I could barely sense her magic. My hearts sank knowing that during the three thousand years past she had perished.

So why could I see her?  How was she even here?

"Did- did I die?"

Sweet laughter traveled to my ears and I couldn't help but smile.

"No esta, you havent died silly. Is it wrong for me to want to see the man I love one more time?"

Hold up one more time? She was joking right I'm not letting her leave me again, not after the last time I left her she literally died!

I sat up pulling the female into an embrace.

"My little fairy..."

She nuzzled her head into the crook of my neck while she started to hum. I didnt recognise the song however I listened to every note.

Where she touched felt colder than it did before. Where her warm breath would have hit my neck it was ice cold sending shivers down my spine.

Did I care? No not much. Why should I? I was just glad to have my little fairy in my arms again. Even if this was the last time I'd feel her touch I knew that I definitely wouldn't forget it.

Her humming drew to a soft close as I leaned back. I moved us into a position where I was the big spoon and she /A KNIFE/ a little spoon.

The female released a sigh filled with content.

"When I leave promise you wont do anything stupid okay?"

I then began to let out a soft laugh.

"You're not leaving baby, not again."

She shook her head leaning into me once again as I began to stroke her wings.

She squirmed a little at first however soon relaxed into my touch. It felt like it was only the two of us in this fucked up world. No conquering britania, no devouring souls...

Just the peace of knowing I was with the woman I loved dearly.

My eyelids felt heavier and heavier each time I tried to fight off the growing fatigue. Once again she began to hum that same tune, allowing me to drift off into a blissful slumber.

"Brother, wake up or so help me ill-"

My eyes shot open, where was I? What happened to (Y/n)?

"Finally, once you fall asleep it's a nightmare to wake you"

I rolled my eyes as gloxinia butted into the conversation.

"So might we ask who your 'little fairy' is?"

"No."

So another UK lockdown yeeeeeey... that was sarcasm although I am glad that I dont have to go to school until February.
