"Are you ready?"
"Not really."
"You'll be fine, Maggie."
"No I really won't. You're such a douche pants."
"I didn't even do anything douche pants worthy! But I'm your douche pants."
"Doesn't matter. Uh, Kyle... We're not dating."
"True, that is very true, but do you think we could be boyfriend and girlfriend, I mean only if you want to."
"Are you asking me out on a date?"
"Uhhh um I guess I am. Weird, I don't usually ask girls on dates, they usually ask me out or we fuck."
"Why did you ruin a good moment in the secret closet, dipwad?"
"Couldn't help it."
As of right now Kyle and Maggie are hiding in a closet at the big fancy party that they are attending. Maggie was wearing a nice long white dress while Kyle was wearing a super fancy suit. (Yes, after all that time shopping he found a suit. Thank the suit gods.)
They were hiding from the one and only Lydia Watson, Kyle's ex. She came here looking for Kyle since she heard that he was here with another girl aka Maggie.
"Sorry about Lydia."
"Yeah, me too. Sorry about her almost trying to push you into the chocolate fountain."
"Nah it would of been fine, I'll just lick myself off like a dog." They both laughed.
"You want to leave?" Kyle asked.
"Yeah, what about Lydia?"
"Eh, fuck her." He said grabbing her hand so he could kiss it and lead her out of here.
"But you already did that, more than once."
"Why did you ruin the moment?"
"It sounded fun."
He shook his head at her then opened the door and walking out of the closet to join the party once again.
After about 3 minutes of leaving the closet, Scott was hugging some girl and blushing like there's no tomorrow.
"MAGGIE!" He screamed after kissing the girl's face repeatedly.
"This is Lola! She came to see me!"
Scott was just so happy to have Lola in his arms once again after so long.
"Lola, this is my best friend, Kyle Green and this is his girlfriend, Maggie. She's a good friend of mine too." He was smiling so hard that his cheek must of been hurting.
"Nice to meet you guys. I can see that Scott here has some good friends, he talks about Kyle all the time that I think he has a crush on him." She said making everyone laugh.
"Nice to meet you too, we were just about to leave and go eat some burgers or something. I'll see you two crazy kids later." Kyle said walking off.
Maggie stayed for a quick second to say, "Scott! I told she'll come and nice to meet you too Lola! I gotta go catch up with him before midnight."
Maggie ran off after Kyle and finally saw him at the door.
"Hey idoit."
"Hey grouch. Did you know it's 11:58?"
"No way. I had no idea about this."
"Well maybe we can kiss for the new year, huh?"
"Yeah, okay."
He sighed in relief. "I thought you were gonna say no."
"I was thinking about it but said nah."
Then everyone in the background was counting down.
"5...4...3.....2....1! HAPPY NEW YEAR"
Maggie grabbed Kyle by the collar and kissed his lips softly.
"GET YOUR FACE OFF OF HER."
Kyle looked at the owner of the voice with disgust while Maggie turned and looked at him with disappointment.
There was Donny, angry as ever, looking at Kyle grabbing Maggie's butt with her hands wrapped around his neck in a warm embrace.
"Ah, fuck."
