Donny and Maggie went to Kyle's house to retrieve her stuff before anyone came home. Maggie didn't want to see Kyle or his mom or even Scott and his girlfriend. She wanted to leave and go back home as fast as she can. After collecting her things Donny drove them back home to Missouri, awaiting to see her good old friends Kim and Jenna, who in fact hate Donny with all their hearts.
When Maggie made it to her porch, she waved Donny goodbye and entered inside. Obviously her parents weren't home but someone was.
"MAGGIE!" She heard someone yelled at her and it turned out to be her older brother William. William is the golden child. He went to a college out of state and was dating some girl, he was their parents dream kid while Maggie felt like she was the mistake of her family, this is probably why her parents are always away so they won't have to be around the mistake they created.
"Hey William, what are you doing here?" She asked her big brother with any emotion. It's not that she didn't love her brother, cause she did, it's just that she's tired and had her heart broken by the guy who wanted to bang her but then date her.
"Visiting and waiting for mom and dad." He said putting his hands into his pockets nervously.
"You know they're never here." Maggie crossed her arms and looked at William suspiciously, "What's going on?"
"Okay, I dropped out of college and my girlfriend cheated on me and kicked me out of our apartment so now I'm homeless." He vomited the words so fast that Maggie had to reanalyze what he said in her brain.
"YOU WHAT??? OH MY GOD. MOM AND DAD ARE GONNA KILL YOU. HAHA WOW AND IM NOT KIDDING THEYRE GONNA MURDER YOU THEN REVIVE YOU AND KILL YOU AGAIN." She yelled at him, this would be the first thing her brother has ever done wrong in the world.
"I know I know, you can't say anything to them okay?" He begged her.
"Okay, I won't say anything."
"Thanks Mags, speaking of not saying anything, are you going to tell me why you have a suitcase and you're wearing a dress?" He asked.
Maggie sighed and explained the whole Kyle situation to him. His facial expressed turned from happy to sad to awe then to anger.
"I'll kill him." Was all William said before grabbing his coat but was stopped by Maggie.
"Please don't. It won't solve anything and I don't want anything to do with him."
He huffed at her, "Fine."
"Thank you. I'm gonna go to bed, goodnight." Maggie said before going up the stairs to her room.
"Night." William said back at her.
When Maggie was out of earshot William pulled out his phone and called a number and said the following statement to the person on the other end.
"Hey listen, we're going to Canada."
