The Academy's Top Dogs pt 2

Louis POV

Sanu: Scene!

The stage lights turn on as we finish up rehearsal.

Sanu: Act one, scene five is good to go!  Let's take five everyone

Louis: What?

Sanu: Your moving a bit slow, is something wrong?

Louis: No need to whisper, I'm perfectly fine

No I'm not.

Louis: What matters is that the new students see the performance.  We need to appeal to them and show them that this club is crucial.

I lean down with my hands on my knees, god my leg hurts right now.

Louis:  I can't be complaining about my body.  Right guys?

The other actors look at me in surprise.

Tao: That's...right

Louis: Give it your all, and herbivore is playing Adler here.  You carnivores should use that as motivation don't hold back.  We'll portray that symbolism on this stage.  This time it's more crucial than ever.

I couldn't help but notice Legoshi looking at me funny at the corner of my eye.  What is with him lately?

Legoshi POV

I was outside with the other members of the art department,  we were sewing costumes.  Kai was getting upset about how he was on sewing duty when Dom the peafowl spoke up.

Dom: Aw Kai, you seem to be good at it though

Kai: Huh, you think?  Seriously?

Dom: Yeah!

I pick up one of the outfits and notice the name that's on the tag.

Legoshi: Is this?  This...is Tem's

Kai: It's a little freaky to be keeping it around, don't you think?

Tem the Alpaca was attacked and murdered, by a carnivore.  Someone from this school.  It's considered this worlds ultimate taboo.  I guess that's the reason, nobody wants to talk about it.  I think I'm starting to understand what Louis was saying.

Louis POV

I can't let anyone know that I'm injured, I don't know how I escaped that night but I escaped with one badly hurt leg.  Of course while I was running away I tripped as well which made it even worse, I think I almost dislocated it.  But what I can't get out of my head is that on that night I was so ready to just give my life away like that.  But I can't let anyone know.

Legosi POV

With Louis playing Adler, I can imagine the pressure he must be feeling.

Dom: Legoshi?  Legoshi!

I snap out of my daze

Legoshi: Oh uh, yeah

Dom: You alright?

I don't answer immediately.

Dom: Well, I was wondering if you could ask Louis about the costumes

Legoshi: Okay...

But do I really want to go speak with him?  I was noticing how he was moving during rehearsal, the wound I gave him, how bad is it.

I left to the backstage area to go to the stage, but then I heard some grunting nearby.  I saw Louis sitting on the ground holding his leg in pain.

He looks up and notices me.

Louis: Hey!  What are you doing back here?

I freeze and look at his leg, I can see the wound that I gave him, did I really hurt him that badly.

Legoshi: I-I'm sorry I was told to ask you about Tem's costume if we should still use it or not

Louis: Do whatever you want just head back out there

Legoshi:  But are you okay?  Your leg doesn't look good

Louis: I'm fine okay, it's not that bad

Legoshi: Clearly not! What happened?

Louis: I- I don't know... I forgot

Wait, what?

Louis: But it must be so shocking to see me of all herbivores with an injury like this, huh?

I still don't know what to say.
Wait, am I about to ask to help him with the wound I gave him!?  Why am I doing that!?

Legoshi: Uh...do you want some help with that

Louis: Fine...

I was expecting him to refuse my offer but I kneeled down to his level and started to take the bandages he was using to treat his leg and I started wrapping them around it.

We looked up from his injury and ended up making eye contact.

We were both silent, but we were just looking in each others eyes.

Louis eyes...there so...beautiful.

Louis: Legoshi, promise me you won't tell anyone about this

Legoshi: I won't tell a soul

I stood up and lended my hand to him, he hesitated at first but he took it.  I pulled him up.

Louis: I have to get back to rehearsal, you should get back to the art department.

Louis began to limp to the stage entrance, I saw how he immediately put on his outer face when he stood up straight, the face that everyone see's. 
I think I'm the only one who saw the real Louis.

I want to talk to him more.
