~{Kogane's spectre}~

It was a regular day aboard the castle of lions, There weren't any attacks for the last couple days and it didn't look like the galra were going to attack anytime soon. I woke up and got ready for the day, as I went into the bathroom I saw my mirror (I was shirtless with shorts on) and saw an old tattoo on my shoulder from when I was sixteen. It was of a monocle. I traced my fingers over it and sighed.

It was when Shiro had gone missing and I needed an outlet, and that outlet was being a Dj. I had a shower and got dressed in an old hoodie that I had worn when I DJ'ed. He walked out to the bridge where everyone was. They all said "Good morning" and went back to what they where doing

Pidge looked towards me and gave me a suspicious look. I knew that Pidge was curious about my past so I had guessed she would try to figure it out. I walked over to the dining table and got a plate of food goo.

I sat down next to hunk and ate. "So.. new hoodie?" Lance had asked. I replied with "Nah, just an old thing i used to wear". The rest of the morning was silent. A couple questions or 'yes's or 'no's but apart from that it was pretty dull. I decided to go to the training deck and train for a bit. Once I came back from training I heard one of my old songs playing. I kinda panicked 'how did they find that song?!' 'Did they find out?' 'what if they start treating me differently! Or asking me to sing?!' Yeah I really freaked out.

Pidge's Pov

I heard someone walk in. i turned my head to see it was just keith. He was wearing something different though, it looked like a hoodie that said 'spectre'. Hmm, I had never heard of it. Maybe an emo band? Or a brand of clothing?. Either way i was far too curious to not search it up so being the little smart gremlin i am i decided to search it up when keith was out of the room. Once he went out to training I decided to look it up. Yes reader, i have earth google, I HAVE BROKEN THE FOURTH WALL. Ok seriously though, I looked up 'The spectre' and what came up was a Dj.

I looked over at what said the Dj's name was none other-than 'Keith.kogane.Shirogane' . I was smiling devilishly and called everyone over. "Hey guys! You gotta check this out!" Everyone came over with surprised expressions and looked at the video I clicked.

It was Keith in the same hoodie he was wearing this morning and headphones. He was on a huge stage with thousands of people in a building. He was behind a music mixer and was about to play a song called 'the spectre (not my song i give all credit for the song to alan walker and to whoever helped making the song)'. After we finished playing Shiro spoke up "This was some time after I got captured by the galra on the Kerberos mission..." "i didnt know mullet could sing!" lance exclaimed Hunk and Coran were smiling softly and Allura and I were fangirling. Little did I know that Keith was standing outside the whole time.

Lance's Pov

I heard something outside the door. It sounded like they were panicking, I ran over to the door and opened it to see Keith having a panic attack. I didn't know what to do so I called Shiro over. "Uhh.. Shiro! Keiths having a panic attack!" Shiro ran over "Keith?! Come on bud-" He picked keith up bridal style and carried him over to the dining table and sat in a chair, still holding keith, he drew circles on his back with his flesh hand and played with his hair.

Shiro's Pov

I was drawing circles on keiths back and playing with his hair. You see... keith used to have panic attacks when i adopted him, so this wasn't the first time. But at least I know that this works. I started to sing a korean lullabye, I also used to do this whenever this happened. Eventually he calmed down and got up, "so uh.. Sorry 'bout that-" Lance replied with "its ok mullet, it's not a crime to panic once in a while" he smiled softly.

Keith's Pov

"I- i'm sorry.. I just heard.. The song. And i kinda freaked out-" i was a little embarrassed because i freaked out over such a small thing, but i guess they aren't treating me any differently or asking me to sing so- all is well i guess? "Don't worry about it! Bye the way- you've got some explaining to do." lance pointed out. 'Well how am i gonna exPLAIN tHAT I WAS DEPRESSED AND DECIDED TO BECOME A DJ'

lance was looking at me like I had said something so I said "what?" Shiro shook his head and said "Keith- you were thinking out loud.." I looked down and crossed my arms "Um- yeah ok.. I just guess I needed to vent because.. Ya know.. You kinda disappeared on me-" his eyes widened and before i could process what was happening i was engulfed in a hug by everyone.

"So you're not gonna make me sing?" i was confused. "Why would we do that?" "Yeah if you dont wanna sing then you don't have too" hunk and pidge said, both in a soft tone. "I'm sorry I made you go through all that, i didnt think about what could've gone wrong."Shiro said.

And at that moment i finally felt completely safe, warm, and like i had a true family.

Bonus 

When we broke from the hug I was happy, then an idea popped up in my head "hey guys? So.. Do you want to hear me sing though?" everybody's heads shot up "Yes we do!" they all said, practically in unison. It was kinda creepy- anyways. "Do you want an audience? It could be more fun that way! And it could boost morality for the universe!" Allura said, I could tell she was really excited. "Uh.. sure, why not".

Time skip to concert

I was kinda nervous, because it had been quite a while since i did this. I was in my hoodie, black jeans, mask and headphones and I walked onto stage. I went up to the mixer and started to play the track and sing (play video on top, just a reminder i only own what i written, which is everything but the lyrics and video at the top)

"Woah! The crowds lovin' it!" pidge shouted, so that we could hear her. "Yeah!"

"He's good!" Lance shouted as we bopped to the music.Keith finished the song and the crowd cheered, I grinned. I went backstage and  yet-again engulfed keith with all the others in a hug. "Thanks guys!".
