You wake up the next morning to a text from Tamaki, sent at least an hour before your alarm went off for school.
"Hey, Y/N. I hope I don't wake you up with this message. I'm still so happy that you wanted to go out with me yesterday. I couldn't sleep very much because I was so excited about getting to see you today. I hope you're having sweet dreams and peaceful sleep!"'How could someone so precious possibly be real?' You think to yourself as a cheesy grin takes over your face. 'Am I actually in a coma and this is all just a fever dream or something?'
You respond to his message, blushing furiously the entire time. "Good morning, Tamaki! I'm sorry you didn't sleep much. If you're too tired to go to the park today, that's okay! I'm excited to see you too, but I want you to take care of yourself."
Within minutes, your phone buzzes. "I don't think I could ever be too tired to not spend time with you. Also, I was wondering...would you want to walk to school together? I actually don't live very far from you, I could meet you when you're ready to leave."
You're already throwing on your school uniform and frantically brushing your teeth. The thought of getting to spend time with Tamaki before AND after school is almost too exciting for you to handle. In the midst of your chaotic morning routine, you send a quick response.
"That would be wonderful! I'll be ready in a few minutes."
While you're putting your shoes on, you hear a faint knock at the door. 'It's him,' you think, the blush returning to your cheeks. You grab your backpack and practically sprint to your door. When you open it, Tamaki's eyes widen and his face flushes red. "G-good morning, Y/N," he says sheepishly. You shut the door behind you and join him outside.
"Good morning, Tamaki!" You say enthusiastically. Walking toward the street, you brush your hand against his. He jumps a little, not expecting the contact, but upon realizing what it was, he smiles and weaves his fingers between yours.
"I d-didn't expect it to be so warm today," he says. "It's...nice to feel the sun. It'll make my time with Kirishima and FatGum this afternoon easier, hopefully."
"I don't think I've met either of them yet," you say. "Are they who you're doing your work study with?" He nods.
"Kirishima is one of the 1-A students. He knows Midoriya pretty well, I think. And FatGum is a pro. I...I can introduce you to them, I-if you want!" He sounds excited but also nervous.
You smile at him and squeeze his hand. "That sounds wonderful! It would be nice to get to know more people around here, since I don't have many friends yet."
"Don't worry, I-I'm sure you'll have lots of friends in no time," Tamaki says. "How could anyone not want to be y-your friend?" You let out a nervous giggle while the blush on your face intensifies. "I'm serious," he says softly, "y-you're one of the m-most...amazing people I've ever met."
He stops in his tracks to plant a tiny kiss on your forehead. You're surprised by his burst of confidence, but regardless you are so happy you could fly. His free hand brushes your cheek. "I...I really like you, Y/N, a-and I want to make you happy."
You can't contain your smile anymore, and it takes over your face. You lift your free hand to his face and pull it toward yours to kiss him. It catches him off guard, but when your lips meet his, he wraps his arms around you and holds you close to him. After a moment, he pulls away, but keeps you in his arms. "I know it probably sounds silly, since I only met you yesterday, but...I just can't help it. I feel a really strong connection to you, Y/N, and it makes me happier than I've ever been."
'If there was ever a moment where my heart could explode from cuteness overload, it's this exact moment,' you think. 'How is someone as sweet and perfect as he is so interested in...me?'
