Bakugou acts all tough and confident over text, but say the same thing in person to him and he's a blushing, stuttering mess. For example:

When they stared dating, Eijirou quickly learned that Katsuki hated to flirt or be overly affectionate in person. But, surprisingly, was fine being flirtatious over text. Eijirou realized that fact when Katsuki texted him a post-workout picture and proceeded to have a very interesting conversation.

Which was...unexpected. Usually with those kinda comments, Katsuki just told him to fuck off. But now Eijirou was tempted to test these new waters.
