"hello" clay heard nailea's voice as soon as he picked up his phone he stayed silent for a few seconds trying to get his thoughts together,"um clay are you there?"

"yea my bad," he answered with a shaky breath why do I feel this way oh god he thought to himself ignoring Nailea asking if something had happened."Hello?Clay what is wrong?" she asked her voice louder than before."Did something happened between-"

"I think I have a crush on you," he blurted out not letting her finish what she was going to ask. His hands got sweaty,his breathing getting heavy,why was his room so hot all of a sudden. There was silence on the other line for a good 10 seconds.Did he fuck up?

"You think you like me?" Clay could tell she was nervous by the way she said it,oh god I really fucked up what is wrong with me the voices in his head were getting worse."Well I'm 100% sure I like you," he quickly said,he wasn't sure if Nailea had understood him .

"Look I don't know why I feel this way,I know it might be all weird to have your brothers friend saying he has feelings for you.I can't keep pretending I just like you as a friend when I want us to be something more than just friends." Once again there was an awkward silence he could hear the wind hitting his window as he waited for Nailea to say something after he had confess his feelings towards her.
