Chapter 3

I think it's been a week since that date, where IA and I became an official couple.

You may not know it yet, but IA and I goes to the same school. Ahh- but we're not in the same class.

Our school seperates it student into two, one is the regular, and other is the featured student. Me and IA is too, seperated by this. I goes to the featured student building, and IA went to the regular. Oh, and of course, the study time for the featured student is longer.

I kinda miss IA. She was usually all around me at all times.

Now that I think of it, IA is the only close friend I had in this school. 

I feel kinda lonely now.

It's decided. I'm going to walk home with her today.

And so, I'm waiting for her on the front gate. Ah, there she is.

"IA-chan~ over here" I called her out.

"L-L-Le...Lenny..!" She sems surpried. Her face turned red.

"IA-chan, let's walk home together today, shall we?" 

"E-eh.. EH?!! Y-Y-You wanna walk home together with me?"

"Uhm, sure~ I kinda miss you, too.." 

She didn't react to that. She's completely silenced. Her face is becoming so red, i can feel the heat of her face.

What a cute soul, I thought to myself.

"U-u-uhm.. S-sure.. Let's...Let's go..." She said.

We walked together, but it's seems that she's feeling slightly... no, enormously embarrassed..?

"Ne, IA-chan, do you feel embarrassed walking with me?"

"E-eh? T-that's not true..

I.. I'm just too shy to be with you... I-i'ts kinda strange, even for me too.. I've always wanted to be by your side, but..

Now that you're really my boyfriend, I-It feels so embarrassing..yet so happy.." She said.

I can't respond anything to that. She got my heart beating so much. Ah, Damn it, why do you have to be so cute, IA?

I took her right hand and hold it tight. "Isn't it fine? No one will give a comment about us being together, I really don't think you have to be embarrassed." I said as I gave her a smile.

She smiled back at me. Her face got all red, but i think she's happy with it.

"Ah, i remember now." I said.

"What is it, Len?"

"Come with me for a while"

"E-e-eh?"

I took IA to the park we used to go as a kid.

There it is, I thought to myself as I looked at that Baskin Robin ice cream truck that parked there.

"Len.. Is this.." She said, tugging my shirt with her other arm.

"So you remember too, IA?" I said.

She nodded.

This here, Is our promise when we were such naive kids.

I promised her that I will take her to eat her favorite ice cream someday, but as a couple.

"L-Len.. You remember.." She said. Her tears started to come down little by little.

"Now, don't cry, idiot." I said.

I took out my handkerchief, and wipe her tears.

Then I looked at that ice cream truck. I started to remember our childhood, just like it was yesterday.

"Strawberry, right?" I said to IA.

She cried even more. I never knew something this minor is really special to girls.

I left here there and went to the ice cream truck, I bought to ice creams for me and her, then i gave her the strawberry ice cream.

"Len... Thank you..."
