Wanwan's arc - love was a terrible decision

Yu Zhong made his way out of a bar after he had finished his gamble. He was heading home when he saw a child walking alone in the streets. After some thinking, the man then decided to help her

"Have you eaten? You look like skin and bones."

"I'm always like this, but I haven't eaten though."

Yu Zhong paused for a moment before he decided to ask,

"Come with me, I'll treat you to something."

"..Thank you mr."

When they finally arrived at a food cart, Yu Zhong proceeded to order 2 bowls of pork belly and brought it over to Wanwan, who was sitting on a bench, wondering to herself. She was looking at something far away when Yu Zhong tapped her shoulders.

"Here, it's for you."

"Thanks."

Wanwan then accepted the bowl and proceeded to eat, Yu Zhong then asked out of curiousity,

"What do your parents look like"

"Well my dad is white and has brown hair, my mom is also white but she dyed her hair blonde, she's also really tall, almost as my dad, and my dad is extremely tall, but not as tall as you mr Yu Zhong."

"That's nice to hear.. But you don't need to keep referring me as Mr."

"Okay."

"And I just want to point out, that for a kid, your vocabulary is very expanse."

"Thanks."

Wanwan looked at him and smiled.

Then it hit Yu Zhong, he didn't know how he hadn't noticed it, but the marks on her cheeks were very similar to the drunk woman he talked to yesterday, she also fit well with the description Wanwan gave him about her mom.

A woman was flirting with Yu Zhong before she told him about her life story

"Hey.. my husband's, out of town and I only have one daughter,*hic* I'm going to give her away soon.. haha. Or maybe I could just throw her out in the streets, ggGOD I hate her so much,*hic* why is she even born.."

Yu Zhong realized that Wanwan's parents wouldn't be coming back for her.

They talked for a while, and Yu Zhong began to grow fond of her. He wanted to tell her that he was the Great Dragon but he wasn't sure, in case a certain group of people told her that the great dragon actually wanted to take over the Cadia Riverlands all for himself, enslaving and imprisoning all the citizens including her, so he chose to remain silent about it.

They talked for a little longer before the sky started to get dark and made Yu Zhong decide to ask Wanwan if she wanted to stay over at his house which she then accepted his offer.

After half an hour, they finally reached Yu Zhong's cabin and entered

Wanwan then walked around the cabin, examining the interior.

"Kid, there's a shower upstairs in the bedroom, go ahead and wash yourself."

"But what about my clothes?"

Yu Zhong paused for a minute before he remembered that he still kept the clothes he used ever since he was little, and one of them had to definately be Wanwan's size.

"I still had the clothes I used when I was still a kid, I hope you don't mind using it."

"Of course not."
