That afternoon, I turned in my work and I was able to get some rest after I help him printing some copies for him. Not that I mind anyways. It's just copying on a photocopy.
I went to the photocopy machine and once I programmed it, it printed out a few copies. I took the papers and walked away from it. As I was on my way to his office, I accidentally bumped into someone.
As light as I am right now, I was about to fall onto the floor. Instinctively, I closed my eyes waiting for the fall, but it didn't happen.
"A-are you okay ?"
A voice of a guy asked.
I opened my eyes slowly to see Joshua holding me by my waist, of course I am flustered as I am really shy around guys.
"Y-yeah. I'm f-fine,,, Thank you,,,"
I replied as my heart was beating soooo fast.
"Sorry for bumping into you"
Joshua apologized as he let go of my waist.
"I should be the one who's sorry. I guess I am really tired that I didn't realize you haha. Well, I gotta go now"
I said to him as I bowed to him and left to our boss' office.
My heart was still beating fast af. That was literally the first time I've ever been THAT close to him
