Joshua was curious on why she was angry by their CEO praising only him and Jeonghan. He has always viewed her as calm and someone who wouldn't held a grudge against someone, but his view upon her would probably change as he have finally see her. The real her.

"Why are you angry over it ?"
He asked out of curiosity

She looked straight at him with a blank expression

"Because that woman had never even praised me in my whole life. Heck I don't think she would even claim this mistake as her child."
She said in an overly bitter tone.

Joshua was taken aback by that answer.

"Surprise surprise. That's my fucking struggle with this messy ass life. If she wouldn't acknowledge me as her daughter why should I acknowledge her as my mother ?? She barely raised me. She barely took care of me. She barely paid attention to me. I'm just a mistake for her."
Said Sophia as her expression showed how spiteful she is towards her mother. Joshua wasn't expecting to see this coming from her.

"I guess I went too far this time."
Said Sophia

"I guess we've talked enough. If you don't want to talk to me anymore after this I don't mind"
She turned her back to him

"Maybe we should just talk about this somewhere else. To resolve things that is."
Said Joshua as he looked at her, hoping she'd agree

"What else do you wanna know. I think I've told you more than I should have."
Said Sophia

Her tone was bitter. Even Joshua was surprised to see her this way. He has always seen her being nice to almost everyone. He wasn't expecting to see this from her. Even if he would, this would be the last thing he'd expect from her.

"I want to get to know you more. I just want to. Other than Jeonghan you're the only one that I could trust... Please...?"
He was desperate. He could finally be himself to someone and he didn't want to let go of the chance of getting to know her.

"I come here with a friend remember ? Someone's living with me too. Who knows how long would we be talking about this"
Said Sophia, showing no interest

"Stop bringing up that you're living with someone. It ticks me off..."
Said Joshua

"Why would you be angry over me living with a guy. You barely even know me"
Said Sophia blankly

He turned her around as he pinned her at the door as he looked frustrated. Sophia was taken aback by it.

"Are you that fucking dense Sophia ??? I fucking like you and you're here being so fucking clueless and I hate it ! For fucks sake LISTEN TO ME."
He was so frustrated that he ended up crying

Sophia was overwhelmed by it as it was the first time she had ever seen him being like this.

She looked at the time and she thought maybe they can stay at the hotel for a night or something.

Sophia didn't say anything and just dragged him out of the bathroom and the club altogether. Sophia brought him to the hotel they went during their first meeting in the club and reserved a room for the night.
